MLB suspended Emmanuel Clase over gambling allegations and Pete Rose became baseball’s ultimate cautionary tale. Now an active MLB player is partnering with a prediction market that MLB is reportedly considering a league-wide deal with. You can understand why people might have questions about that.

Acuña is not the first athlete to partner with a prediction market, but the announcement is likely to be met with some scrutiny.

I hate to say it, but the bullpen blowing it is the only appropriate way to end a season like this. Should leave a bitter, bitter taste in Posey and Co’s mouth heading into the offseason. I wouldn’t have minded a walk-off in Kruk’s last game though. #SFGiants

Bob Costas, on the Giants' broadcast, declares the @baseballhall should allow Kruk and Kuip to go in together. He said the Frick award winning broadcasters, who vote on this, are in agreement but the Hall hasn't agreed to it - yet. DO IT @baseballhall - it would be only positive
