Delhi’s Environment Minister claims 222 ‘good air days’ so far this year, however the official data says we just had ONE good air days.
How did he arrive at 222? By conveniently including even MODERATE AQI (100–200) in the government’s ‘good air’ classification.
This is institutional gaslighting: manipulating the narrative to make toxic air appear acceptable. Who authorised this deliberate misrepresentation? Who will investigate it? And who will be held accountable for misleading millions of citizens about the air they breathe?
We deserve clean air, not manufactured statistics.
