Not easy at all, let alone modelling the rig itself. BUT It is as fun as animating in 2d!
Begging 2D animators to actually make any *good* 3D animation before calling it easy lol

Look this is why I haven't been pumping out AU stuff and other animations because I'm trying to survive 1st term 😭

Have you considered that maybe youre not the target audience? This artist is a genius because their clients probably consist of vtubers/cc who get paid enough to drop stacks on them. Meanwhile those who complained never paid a dime to any animators with open slots
Saben que fue lo peor de esto? De que si hubo gente que le pago a este artista lo que el pedía Tan solo tengan una más mínima idea de como un talento puede dar mucho de que hablar en este vertedero......

I remember a poster from a tech shop that quoted "If I do a job in 30 mins, it's because I spent 10 yrs learning how to do it in 30 mins. You owe me for the years, not the minutes." It's a facebook quote but it's true.

I saw a tweet that said that animation tchrs are underpaid so that ppl like us are pricing higher for our work. Not knowing that those same tchrs have begged for us to not undercharge and lower our worth and literally taught us about the business world as our curriculum.

"1 hour is 1 million dollars" when animators do animation they have their job split between multiple animators, they have people doing simpler in-between motion, people doing colors, people handling complex motion, etc. This is a fair price for 1 person doing a studio's workload

Ding ding ding! You now know that animators are being underpaid!
250/sec 30000/20mins i promise not a single animator in the most successful anime of all time has been paid that

Here's a visual presentation. Same model, different execution. Using 3D models requires effort and skills too. Obviously, it's not the perfect example since I rushed it but you can tell the difference.
I think artists who shit on the use of 3D as process is missing the point that an amateur using 3D will STILL look like amateur art. They dont suddenly just become professional artists. It still requires understanding fundamentals to break them. 3D tracing doesn't change that.

their own understanding of the fundamentals to improve their art. Of course, do whatever you want with your 3D models, but from my own experience, models are commonly used as a visual aid that can help a lot of artists.

Also, I do think tracing isn't entirely bad. There's literally videos that show artists tracing someone's art (W/ permission and credit) to learn and teach themselves and others.

What.
People normalizing tracing over a 3d model in the wake of an AI apocalypse is kinda weird to see ngl? And like the argument is that it doesn't infringe on anyone's intellectual property like dawg...🥀🥀🥀 I am not really against it but it does feel kinda ehhhhhh dirty?
