We hosted Finn Church Aid (@fca_uganda ) Uganda & Kenya at our Tengeneza na Somo production hub! 🤝 They visited to study the Somo model as they design a new 2027-2029 women’s economic empowerment project. We shared how we scale women-led agribusinesses by removing upfront capital barriers through our pay-per-use manufacturing space, market linkages, and training. By sharing our blueprints, Somo is helping shape high-impact, grassroots programs across East Africa. 🌍 #SomoImpact #WomensEconomicEmpowerment #Agribusiness #FCAUganda #FCAKenya

Building common ground starts with bringing the right people to the table. This week in Kiryandongo District, together with @fca_uganda we convened introductory meetings with district leaders, security actors, and community stakeholders to launch the Peacebuilding and Climate Action project. The engagements created space to clarify roles, strengthen coordination, and build a shared understanding of how local institutions and communities can work together to prevent resource-based tensions and support resilience. #PeacebuildingandClimateAction

At Maratatu Primary School in Kyangwali refugee settlement, the BRIGHT project helps strengthen teacher well‑being in a simple but powerful way: by creating safe play areas where babies can be cared for during the school day. With their children safe and supported, teachers can focus on their work with peace of mind. The BRIGHT project is funded by the European Union through Global Gateway, and is part of the Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa, implemented by Expertise France and FCA.
