I think 2028 is the year she could finally do it.
Kamala Harris just spoke in Las Vegas and it seems she's testing out a new oratory style. It's worse than you can imagine.

Was at a lib-left social thing earlier this week with a bunch of snap-clapper Brooklyn early-thirty-somethings: high school teachers, masters degree havers, not quite professionals. People who want to ‘make the world a little better.’ Very poignant - you can tell that many of them are disappointed, longing, adrift, and pained. Still, they must be ruthlessly crushed, pushed down even further, their last slivers of hope extinguished.

A plea for ‘empathy’ is obviously just an opener for an endless series of subsequent very specific demands and most of the time people need to just be told from the outset that they have a cross to bear.

The Muslim Brotherhood is not extremist, it is Islamist, and thus cannot even be placed on the Western ideological spectrum. Islam is a ‘complete system’ that includes religion, governance, and law. There is no ‘render unto Caesar’ and Islam forbids the space between religion and government that liberalism requires to function. This is a totally neutral, judgement-free description so I don’t even know what we’re doing here. Islam is non-compatible with liberalism and democracy and any good Islamist will tell you this.
There's something odd about @curtis_yarvin calling the Muslim Brotherhood extremist, considering that he himself disavows democracy and openly calls for the establishment of a monarchy in America. By any reasonable standard, he's an extremist in the American context.

French Revolution vibe to this, an attempt to stay a millimeter out in front of the crowd as things are escalating, but obviously if things got really moving Swisher is the type of person whose head would end up on a pike soon after Elon’s.
On the Bulwak podcast, Kara Swisher says Elon might already be in jail under Kamala Harris, and "he knows what's coming for him." Another one to put in the "what Democrats plan to do if they take power" file: "If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him." "So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on the list? He's at the top of that list." "He has a very big sense of fate. And I think it's coming for him. And real hard." They're all just saying this stuff out loud now. There are no secrets about what they want to do.

Lmao this is very on the nose but this is exactly what you’d expect from Dem politicians. They’re the exact sort of people who would fake being a member of Phi Beta Kappa. As a member of Phi Beta Kappa myself, Peggy, let me say to you, my culture is not your costume.

The tech guys are horrible people. They have been terrible stewards of California and they only woke up when the politics they turned a blind eye to for so long finally came for them.
POLITICO: Google co-founder Sergey Brin has spent 40 times what he’s invested in politics in the previous 20 years trying to defeat California’s proposed billionaire tax 23% chance the billionaire wealth tax passes

‘The Muslim Brotherhood is more “moderate” than MAGA.’ 👍
On the rubric of respect for democratic outcomes, the Muslim Brotherhood is more “moderate” than MAGA. That might sound crazy but it’s a fact. The Egyptian Brotherhood repeatedly committed itself to respecting democratic outcomes in numerous political and party platforms. We can debate hypotheticals of whether the Brotherhood would have stayed committed to the democratic process if it lost in subsequent elections. But we have no way of knowing because Egypt’s democratic experiment was cut short. We don’t need to debate hypotheticals when it comes to Trump and MAGA. Trump has *not* committed himself to respecting democratic outcomes and in fact rejected a democratic outcome in 2020 and then tried to overturn the election result. No need to speculate on that. It happened.

Pivots on a dime from malevolence and threats to playing the victim.
Elissa Slotkin claims that the only reason that she's being attacked for threatening lawfare against young conservatives for serving in the Trump administration is because she's a woman. 🙄

I’m starting to read @MrAndyNgo ’s book about the Zizians, and my thought is, yeah, no surprises, a vegan trans rationalist murder cult is exactly what I’d expect to happen when people get really into ‘rationalism’ and spend too much time on the computer.

Yeah, if I was going to do the rural retreat thing I would think about central Jersey. It's beautiful and you could easily set yourself up so that NYC, Philly, the beach, and the Poconos are all about 60-75 minutes away.
Classic 1800s #NewJersey Charmer in Quaint town on 1.13 #Acres, 45 minutes to Jersey Shore beaches – $108K. oldhousesunder100k.com/under…

Libertarians are right on guns. Ready gun access isn't a free lunch but it does distribute power broadly in society and limits the powers of the government. From Australia to Venezuela, nothing good happens politically after the government takes away the guns.
My lifelong support for draconian gun control laws was weakened during the 2020 riots when, watching helicopter footage of mobs roaming freely through Philly neighborhoods and attempting to enter homes, a journalist reported that homeowners had told him that when they called police begging for protection they were told that law enforcement personnel were overwhelmed and homeowners were "on their own."

Very quickly Paul Gottfried’s recurring argument is that the modern Left can no longer be explained primarily through class conflict or material/ economic interests - the contemporary Left is 'post-Marxist' and has shifted from redistribution, ownership, and class towards culture, identity, administration, therapeutic norms, and social control. So when leftists invoke 'neoliberalism' in this context it has no meaning in terms of actual political economy. It's better understood as a demonstration of the Left's social authority wherein violence is legitimated under a therapeutic-ideological pretext ('neoliberalism caused this').
Government spending in France is a greater percentage of GDP than it was in the Soviet Union. There is no neoliberalism in France. There is no austerity. If that’s your explanation of the riots then you know nothing, understand nothing.

Libtards have these fandoms where they fantasize that a range of cultural achievements are all in service of their contingent, inane ideological predilictions. It's a weird form of para-socialization that goes one way (doubt the artists care) that is a little disturbing.
Iron Maiden had a song about the North American genocide. Slayer had a song about the Holocaust. Black Sabbath had War Pigs ffs. You're just a mental toddler who never once paid attention.

A lot of people making these sorts of comments are ‘authors’ or are in ‘publishing.’ They’re angry their world has collapsed and so they’re excited when they see other people’s things being burned down.
