Has anyone successfully bought a winter jacket from SHEIN or Temu? What was the outcome?

most disingenuous part of mommy wars are moms who pretend there is no joy in any activity that isn’t baby cuddling. no ines saying you have to go on a friend trip but don’t act like you can’t understand the concept of a weekend getaway with friends
Replying to @MargaritaNicko
What would I need a “night off” from? Hanging out with my family? Huh?

An Igbo babe saying her husband will do idobale at her wedding, later you guys will say your fore fathers have been doing idobale and name it ichakuku.

On a lighter note, my friends have atleast 1 child each and they still never joke with personal/ friendship time off. They literally look forward to it at every opportunity.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long. Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

You owe it to yourself to take a couple/personal day without your baby from time to time. Trust me yourself and your child will be grateful for the reset.

There are different types.
Has anyone noticed that fresh tomatoes in the UK taste so sour? 😭😂 You have to add bell peppers and long peppers to your stew to get that proper taste. And Nigerian tomatoes don’t taste like that.. why? I miss our tomatoes sha.

You guys are becoming too bold with your colorism. Makeup and society has advanced too far for you to be stinking up our TLs with your colorist, backward takes. Keep up with the times, doofus.
My hot take is that “no makeup makeup” look doesn’t eat on dark skinned girls.

The Yorubanization of Nigerian weddings. And I think it's sad. Traditional weddings should be done according to the culture of the bride. I'm sure Edo people have their own rites for traditional weddings. Why is the groom prostrating?
Zlatan Ibile and his groomsmen prostrated to Davita’s parents to ask for her hand in marriage.

Lol once again “ere ki la ja nbe kun se?”
Was talking to my friend over the weekend and out of nowhere he just blurted out "you actually have beautiful eyes, ah wait o, you're actually my type o" and that's when I knew he had started looking at me with his penis. God please.

The UK weather changing the clocks and bringing darkness before you’ve even finished your day is something else😂 You leave home in darkness and somehow return home in darkness. Winter is not for the weak, and I will always choose Summer 😞

Maybe because men don’t speak about having female friends as a “must have” like some women do.
imagine if a man spoke about not having female friends in this same way, we'd think he's an incel

I shop online (more like add things to my cart) as a way to destress

I just can’t help but notice that “Nobody Wants This” is like a huge Jewish propaganda machine.

This is how makeup artists should show their work.
Look at my work WITHOUT a filter, bruh!!! 😭🥹 I genuinely blow my own mind every time I pick up a makeup brush. 🤌🏽

Oro lo fe gbo. And I’m glad you are hearing it.
🇬🇧 As an immigrant living in the UK, I often see comments telling immigrants (me) to leave the UK and go back home . I have always wanted to ask British people who share this view: Is your concern about immigration generally, the number of people coming into the UK, or immigrants from certain countries? I genuinely want to understand your perspective.
