Introducing Fermion - the most powerful way to run your online education business.
As a past ed-tech startup, the biggest mistake we made was spending too much time building technology, rather than focusing on our unique strengths and user outcomes.
@fermionapp changes that.
Just undershot the estimate by 12-13TB, no big deal
Create a custom Certificate of Completion for your courses, fully generated by AI and customizable by you.
Stack:
✅ @fermionapp for hosting courses
✅ @Cloudflare workers for AI streaming
✅ @OpenAI o4-mini with file uploads

Feeling grateful to this beautiful bird app which helped me do something an insignificant shraavak like me couldn't have done otherwise 🙏🏻
Job Search Games Rs 108 @fermionapp course earnings donated to Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham
Sign-ups: 541
Earnings: Rs 51, 502 /-
Donated post tax (65%) : Rs 33,500/-
grateful to everyone who attended this course + those who helped me ship it, especially @fermionapp who enabled this experience, helping me navigate this journey end to end (you folks are awesome)
mediocre salaried folks like me can rarely contribute to dharma via donations, but such shram-daan enabled by the internet is one such way
I pray more of us find ways to support institutions which preserve our dharma & heritage 🙏🏻
p.s.
my CA is trying to claim this in 80 G, if that gets accepted, will donate the rest as well, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Launching Job Search Games workshop on @fermionapp
we already have 200+ sign-ups , expanding this to another 200 slots
20-part video course + 14 weekly 2-hour AMAs + mock interview community
21 Sep '24 to 31 Dec '24
please reply to this tweet so I can DM you the course link
this course will have everything I ever wanted to say about job search games + access to a slack-like mock interview community inside of Fermion app
price: Rs 108 /-
caution: this fee is non-refundable
faq:
1.
why is this course so inexpensive as compared to my other courses
because
I know my notes are boring & won't be viral, by default
so, the only way for me to attract organic sign-ups is by word-of-mouth
I hope that such inexpensive courses will lead some of the enrolled folks to find good value, and thus recommend us + vouch for us, helping us attract future sign-ups without much marketing
because each time I tweet anything related to my courses, the effortless fun of being on twitter decreases a bit
2.
who is the target audience
ideally, more relevant for folks in tech, but I think this may have adequate insights for folks in other industries too, who do knowledge work and the meta patterns should ideally persist
p.s.
- this Auto DM functionality is enabled by @typefully - they are sent in batches, so wait for a few minutes to receive the same
- launching @JobSearchGames handle to separate out that part of my identity & reduce the clutter on my main account

Contests are now available on @fermionapp in an early preview.
Imagine running a full-blown web development/data science or DSA coding contest on your own domain/platform where you bring in the questions and fermion powers the in-browser coding labs, proctoring, evaluation, etc.
Very suitable for scholarship coding tests, interviews, entrance tests, or general lead generation for your next coding bootcamp, all under your own branding

insane amount of engineering effort going on at @fermionapp
especially, our new live-streaming infra. it is really good!
25x cheaper than using Zoom SDK for one of our clients, while giving 1080p streaming over webrtc (zoom doesn't support 1080p).
i have eyes on AI too. 2025 Q3/4 would be AI focused for fermion
should i talk about it in videos?
Drop by our office in Bangalore if you’re a creator.
Perks: attach as many monitors as you want with your Mac

600+ students. zero downtime or buffering. the same would cost you ₹30,000/$340 on Zoom.
