#discord #discordupdates @discord Fellaaaaas 🗣🔊 Hi, since ppl askin let me share my viewpoint regarding this latest info about the discord update released. I'd say for me it's a middle ground right now, a grey area. Yes, it's a cool opportunity for public servers, but there are a few problems that could backfire: – What will the point of the Discovery feature going forward? – Public servers can apply in any subject and shape, not just the fandoms you see in search, so filtering becomes a real question. – Some public servers are known for doxxing, and you don't control which servers you follow privatise. If your private server messages get picked like shopping n you'll see it on chrome browser well, good luck ig. – I expect a lot of controversy between owners and their audiences. Not to mention depending on owners' intents to make their lads public on their places, you can't rlly control that especially if you don't get informed mate. Management of this feature is the biggest question. Fun and games till bs like revenge porn gets passed over to either public servers or "turned to public servers". (No glue but atp just make Discovery more useful man 💔) Thank you for reading 🫶
