In my own case, it was a man. I dated someone who was 15 years older than me, and he told me his mum wanted grandchildren because neither of them was getting any younger.
At the time, I was still in university. My priority wasn’t marriage; it was to focus on my course and finish school. I told him I wasn’t ready for marriage or starting a family because I felt I was too young for that responsibility and I haven’t even achieved ½ of the life I want.
Imagine being so young and already having to wake up every morning to cook, clean, cater to a husband, and prepare a child for school. I wasn’t ready for that kind of life yet, and I didn’t think there was anything wrong with that.
I told him that if he genuinely wanted to marry me, he should be willing to wait until I was ready. This man cursed me out and blocked me. 😂

As a woman who intends to marry a single father, you must make peace with yourself that:
1. That child or those children come first before you and the children you will bear for him.
2. He has an eternal bond with the mother of that child whether it pleases you or not.
3. The chances of him and the baby mama fucking in the future are 50:50.
4. When push comes to shove, you’ll realize you have no say in critical decisions pertaining to that child’s life.
PS: A widower is different from a single father.
