My dad built model trains with me. Most British hobby ever!
Taught me loads about planning, woodwork, electrics and creativity.
And now I'm passing it down a generation...
Not many analogue hobbies left in this world, sadly. But they are wonderful and worth preserving.
It absolutely feels like the world became a better place this week.
More reasonable.
More rational.
More human.
Will it last? Will we swing to equally crazy extremes?
I hope not.
But for now, it feels good to be alive and raising little humans with bright futures.
End off your week by learning something interesting about investing.

Tesla is down 16% over 5 years by the way.
I took a lot of flack for being consistently bearish on it!
Well, here we are.

Made the mistake of reading some of Mashaba's posts today.
Taking a shot every time he says "disrespected" could well be the best drinking game of the weekend.
Good luck up north.
It's time to have tighter qualification criteria to be on the ballot.
The first one sounds like an ISP.
The second one seems like someone lost a bet.
The third one hoped that naming themselves after an advertising school might help (it didn't).

It's a good week to be a centre-left kinda dude.
I believe that billionaires should be allowed to exist. Extreme talent and risk-taking should be rewarded.
I also believe that ordinary people with ordinary talents should be able to live a good life if they do honest work. It's completely absurd that people can't afford to have children, or to have basic healthcare.
These concepts aren't mutually exclusive unless you have idiots in power from either the far left or the far right.
