First Time Finish

That passing range, how composed he is and how he is able to read the game - it’s exceptional 👌 #LFC have a phenomenal player in Trey Nyoni. 🎥: @sbzcomps

🇩🇪 Florian Wirtz covered the most distances (12.4km) and completed the most dribbles (2) on the pitch today. All while getting a goal and an assist. He’s averaging 0.87 goal contributions per 90 minutes in his last 8 matches.

My thoughts on Dominik Szoboszlai and #LFC right now. This is coming from a Hungarian who has watched him since he was 16. In my opinion this is his best position in Iraola’s system. youtu.be/UO-_1FKzmpE?is=zNrp…

Márius Corbu with an incredible performance against AC Milan. - Most passes into the final third for Ferencváros (8) - 5/8 ground duels won - 6 recoveries - 2 interceptions - 4 clearances An incredible pressing machine. With great technical qualities. He deserves to play in Europe’s top five leagues. Keep an eye out on him.

🇪🇪 A smart club is going to sign Sander Alamaa in this upcoming January window. One of the most exciting teenage LWs playing outside of the traditional top 7 European leagues right now. Incredibly technically gifted. Excels in one vs one situations. Loves to cut onto his stronger right foot from the left. Already played 68 appearances at senior club level and averaged 0.72 goal contributions per 90 minutes. Has 6 goal contributions (4 goals and 2 assists) in 3 UEFA Youth League games this season. Just helped his side knock Chelsea out of the competition. There is a bargain to be had. Estonia’s future is here 💎

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Luca Eden is averaging a goal or assist every 74 minutes for #LFC's U18 and U19 side this season. That includes 4 goal contributions in 4 UEFA Youth League matches. Only one midfielder has more goal contributions than him in the competition. I keep saying this but what he is doing at 15 is remarkable and quite unprecedented at Liverpool. He still has a long way to go and many areas where he can develop. But his performances playing so many age groups above his own is difficult to ignore.

🇨🇮 19-year-old Abdoulaye Doumbia is such an exciting young talent. A CM/CDM (probably best in a double pivot) who covers so much distance on the pitch. On top of that, he is incredibly press-resistant. Has an excellent passing range and makes a lot of good line-breaking passes. 📊 In the Allsvenskan this season, he ranks among the top five midfielders for passes into the final third (9.38 per 90 minutes) and in the top 10 midfielders for progressive passes (8.09 per 90 minutes). He's really comfortable in the build-up phase for Hacken. Will always look to drop and receive. Does well to stay composed under pressure and find the right options. Defensively, he is top tier. He reads the game extremely well, capable of covering a lot of spaces and knows when to press and hold. Averages 10.56 recoveries per 90 minutes this season with 45% of those coming in the opposition's half. He also averages the fourth-most successful defensive actions (9.58 per 90 minutes) among midfielders and ranks first for possession-adjusted interceptions (7.54 per 90 minutes). He is relatively quick and his anticipation is excellent. I think he's already good enough to play for a lower-tier top five team in Europe. But his ceiling might be good enough to play for a UCL level club in the future. Probably needs to develop a bit more physically in order to make that leap. His playing style and profile reminds me a bit of Lamine Camara right now. One to keep a close eye on.

The game changed when Nyoni came off. Thought Liverpool had the momentum until then. Never quite managed to seize control again after he came off.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Trey Nyoni completed the most passes (53) and was the most accurate passer (96%) while he was on the pitch today. Also made the most passes into the final third (11). Not bad for his first start in the Premier League.

🇭🇳 #LFC youngster Keyrol Figueroa has 4 goals for club and country in his last 354 minutes on the pitch. Averaging a goal every 88.5 minutes in his last 8 games. Doing really well on loan at Port Vale. Has brilliant positional awareness inside the box. And an excellent finisher, too.

🇭🇺 Erik Farkas is averaging a goal or assist every 61 minutes for #LFC's youth sides this season. ⚽️ 6 goals 🅰️ 3 assists 👕 553 minutes played Incredible output from the attacking midfielder. He's so technical and elegant on the ball. One of the best first touches in academy football. And an elite vision to pick out the perfect pass or through ball. Liverpool really have a special player on their hands.
