Thank you to everyone who traveled from across the world to NousCon 2026. We loved spending time with the people who make the Hermes community great.
As you all know, we released the Hermes Mobile beta at the event, and as anticipated it filled up quickly. We are working tirelessly to free up more room in the beta, and to get the app production ready for wider release. The feedback has been incredible so far, and we are excited to share it with the world soon.

Both apps
- Bots show as working only while they're actually working
- Uploads work on servers where Hermes won't list the top files folder
- The bot screen viewer loads again
- Models from one provider whose names look the same can now be told apart
iOS
- Chat scrolls smoothly while replies stream in, and it keeps your place when the keyboard opens or closes
- Messages open and fold smoothly, and the messages below move along with them
- No more blank gap above tables and code blocks
- Attached pictures fit the space they're given
- On iPad, the side pane clears when you archive or delete the chat it shows
- A bot shows as working as soon as you start it from your phone
- You can pick the thinking level in a new chat before sending
- Adding a model preset no longer changes the one you had selected
- Connects to a local dashboard that ignores its password sign-in
- Works with Hermes running on Windows
Android
- Chat transcript layout and scrolling issues: row heights, the blank band above tables and code, keeping your place when the keyboard moves, smooth streaming and folds, rows sliding when one opens, keyboard dismissal before a sheet covers the chat
- Voice input works on Android 11 and later, and the app says why when the mic can't start
- Live voice history no longer fails to load
- Menus open where you tapped, animate between submenus, and show only the dividers they need
- The status popover in the header is now a proper menu
- Batches of subagents show the right number of finished runs, and their cards no longer overlap the message above
- Notifications pair with Hermes running on Windows
- Connects to a local dashboard that ignores its password sign-in
- Archived bot chats no longer show live pins Hermes added after archiving
⚠️ PSA: Don’t download any "Nous Research" or "Hermes" apps from the App Store or Play Store. Several are impersonating us with our logo or a lookalike.
Our official app is beta-only for now. Plenty of great third-party clients exist, this is about apps using our logo.

Meshy is offering Hermes users a month of Pro, which includes API access and 1,000 credits, for $1.
After you subscribe and install the plugin, create a key at meshy.ai/developers/keys and paste it into Settings > Plugins > Meshy in Hermes Desktop.

Hermes Agent now has an official plugin for @MeshyAI.
Ask Hermes to make a 70m poly treasure chest for Godot, or to turn a photo of a mug into a model you can print, and it does the job through Meshy's MCP server.
In Hermes Desktop the models render in chat, rigged characters animate inline, and a gallery stores every model and prompt. On messaging apps, Hermes sends a short preview video so you can create on the go.

Your agents will be able to create dynamic, native SwiftUI views to display information and offer easy follow-up actions.
Early preview, not final design:
First look at Cadu on iPhone Duo. Chat on one side, terminal, files or whatever else you need on the other, with tabs to switch between them.
Things will probably still change a little, since it's hard to design for a device you can't hold yet.
Here's a very early look at native Cadu for Android 🤖 I know, I know, there's still some Apple-focused design language here. I'll not rest until it feels as native to the platform as possible!

This is a big one. Cadu's core is completely rebuilt: a new API layer, new business logic and a new UI foundation, with most components reworked along the way. With changes this deep, it might happen that you hit a few new bugs, sorry for that.
