$LTC has three big catalysts lined up, and almost nobody is paying attention.
1. The halving
In summer 2027, the $LTC block reward gets cut in half. Daily new supply drops from about 3,600 coins to 1,800. Same demand, half the new supply.
Before the 2019 halving, $LTC ran more than 4x in six months.
2. The Grayscale ETF
Grayscale filed in September to turn its Litecoin Trust into an ETF on NYSE Arca. Bitcoin ETFs changed everything for $BTC. If this gets approved, institutions get a front door to $LTC.
3. LitVM
Litecoin's smart contract layer could launch by the end of 2026. That brings DeFi to one of the oldest, most reliable networks in crypto.
Meanwhile:
15 years running with no downtime.
84 million max supply.
Priced near the lowest it has ever been against $BTC.
In September, $LTC went up about 41% while $BTC did 8%. That was a preview.
Supply cut. Institutional access. New utility.
I'm positioned before the crowd figures it out.
Bitcoin was born out of the 2008 bailouts.
The very first block ever mined has a newspaper headline written into it: "Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks."
It was built so money wouldn't need permission from a government or a bank.
$LTC followed with the same idea. Fixed supply. No central bank. No one can print more.
So why do $BTC and $LTC pump and dump every time the Fed holds a meeting?
Because the people trading them still think like Wall Street.
Funds, leverage traders, and bots react to every headline about rates, inflation reports, and politicians talking. They push the price around in the short term.
But none of that changes the code.
The Fed can't print more $BTC.
Congress can't vote to change the $LTC supply.
No meeting can stop a block from being mined.
The noise is short term. The math is forever.
Stop watching the government to figure out what the thing built to replace it is going to do.
Turn off the news. Hold your coins.
Let's do the math on $LTC and $BTC vs the dollar.
Start in April 2013, when $LTC started trading on real markets.
The dollar:
In 2013, the US money supply (M2) was about $10.5 trillion. Today it's about $23.4 trillion. They more than doubled it.
Prices are up about 45% since then. $1,000 in cash from 2013 buys about $690 worth of stuff today.
$BTC:
Then: about $117. Today: $80,438.
$1,000 in $BTC is now worth about $689,000.
$LTC:
Then: about $4.61. Today: $59.40.
$1,000 in $LTC is now worth about $12,900.
So over the same 13 years:
Cash lost about 31% of its buying power.
$LTC went up about 13x.
$BTC went up about 689x.
One of these can be printed. Two of them can't.
The dollar has no cap. $BTC is capped at 21 million. $LTC is capped at 84 million.
You're not getting richer holding dollars. You're just getting poorer slowly.
Why do people ever sell their $BTC or $LTC?
They panic on a red week and forget the 10 year chart.
They see a 20% gain and call it "profit" while the real move is still ahead.
They chase the next shiny coin and come back later buying higher.
They use leverage and get liquidated on a wick they never saw coming.
They listen to people on TV who have never held either.
The coins never did anything wrong. Fixed supply, no printing, running 24/7 for years.
The only thing that ever breaks is the holder's patience.
Don't be the weak hand someone else is waiting to buy from.
Sellers, help me understand this.
You're selling $BTC and $LTC to buy dollars?
$BTC has a hard cap of 21 million. Nobody can print more.
$LTC has a hard cap of 84 million. Nobody can print more.
The dollar has no cap. They print it whenever they need to. Every bailout, every stimulus, every deficit, more dollars.
So you're trading something that can't be printed for something that never stops being printed.
And you're calling that "taking profit."
Make it make sense.
I'll keep stacking the fixed supply. You can keep the paper.
Buy $LTC on spot. No leverage. No stop hunts. No liquidation price.
Just coins in your wallet that you hold.
Most people lose money in crypto trying to trade it. They get chopped up on 5 minute candles, overpay in fees, and get liquidated on a wick right before the real move happens.
Spot holders don't get liquidated. They get paid for being patient.
$LTC is sitting near the bottom of its entire history against $BTC. When that ratio turns, the people who win won't be the ones who traded in and out 40 times. It'll be the ones who bought and sat on their hands.
Stop trading. Start holding.
Buy spot. Take custody. Be patient.
In 2013, one $BTC bought about 21 $LTC.
Today, one $BTC buys about 1,354 $LTC.
That's a 63x spread.
For $LTC to get back to its all time high against $BTC, it would need to go up 63x relative to bitcoin. At today's $BTC price of $80,438, that's $LTC at about $3,767.
I'm not saying it gets there. I'm saying the gap has never been this wide, and you don't need anywhere near a full return for this to be one of the best risk to reward setups in crypto.
Even a move back to where the ratio sat in 2021 is roughly 10x against $BTC.
The spread is the opportunity.
One $BTC buys about 1,354 $LTC right now.
$LTC at $59.40. $BTC at $80,438.
At the peak of the $LTC/$BTC ratio in 2013, one $BTC bought about 21 $LTC.
Same coin. Same 84 million max supply. Same network that's been running for over 14 years. Priced at a fraction of what it once was against $BTC.
Since the August low, the ratio is already turning up. Today $LTC is outpacing $BTC.
I know which side of that trade I want to be on.
$LTC season doesn't announce itself. It shows up on the chart first.
August printed a new all time low on $LTC/$BTC. Then September showed what this thing can do when it wakes up: a 40% move against $BTC in a matter of weeks.
It pulled back, but it's holding well above that August low. Higher low on a ratio that's been bleeding for years is how bottoms start.
Every $LTC cycle looks dead right before it moves. The 2017 to 2018 run went over 7x against $BTC from levels nobody wanted to touch.
I'm not waiting for the green candle to tell me what the chart is already saying.
$LTC season is loading.
Why I'm buying $LTC instead of $BTC right now:
$LTC is priced at the bottom of its entire history against $BTC. One Litecoin buys about 0.0007 BTC today. At its peak it bought 0.0468. That's 98.5% off the high.
The ratio already flushed. In August it put in a new all time low around 0.00062, then bounced about 40% to 0.00087 within weeks. Sellers had their shot and buyers stepped in.
Momentum has reset. Weekly RSI on $LTC/$BTC went from near oversold in August to neutral now. There's room to run without being overheated.
The upside math favors $LTC. For $BTC to do 10x from here, it needs to hit about $800k. For $LTC to do 10x against $BTC, the ratio only has to get back to 0.007, a level it held as recently as 2021.
It's been done before. In the 2017 to 2018 cycle, the ratio went from about 0.003 to 0.0227. That's more than 7x against $BTC, on top of whatever $BTC itself did.
The fundamentals haven't changed. 84 million max supply, 2.5 minute blocks, over 14 years without downtime, and a spot ETF already trading in the US.
$BTC is the safer hold. $LTC is the better asymmetric bet from here.
I'd rather buy the bottom of the ratio than the top of the trend.
Litecoin is sitting near the cheapest it has ever been priced in bitcoin.
At $57 $LTC and $81k $BTC, one Litecoin buys about 0.0007 BTC. The LTC/BTC ratio is down more than 98.5% since 2014, and now it's holding at the bottom while BTC stays strong.
The last big turn on this ratio came in the 2017 to 2018 cycle, when it rebounded roughly 750%. LTC didn't just follow bitcoin. It ran circles around it.
When the trend flips, it won't ask for permission.
I'd rather be early than chase it.
How does an anon meme with no team go from launch to Coinbase spot in 27 days?
$BLUECHIP did it. $TOSHI and $DRB waited about 17 months. $BRETT still isn't listed.
Then the chart bled out while the people who bought the listing pump held the bag.
Someone knew something early. Who decides which Base memes get the fast lane?
Been mining $zAVA on $AVAX and honestly it's one of the fairest setups I've seen.
You commit AVAX, wait 24 hours, then claim your $zAVA plus 90% of what you put in back. No presale, no team bags, LP burned from day one.
21 million max supply over 32 cycles. Every cycle the supply halves and the price doubles. Basically Bitcoin's playbook, built on Avalanche.
Every mine also feeds the liquidity, buys back and burns $zAVA, and rewards holders. The more people mine, the stronger it gets.
There's even a Shield if you want to keep your bag private, and a launchpad where anyone can launch their own token mined the same way.
Early cycles are the cheapest it will ever be. Not financial advice, just a believer. 🏔️
The most innovative and fair way to launch a token is now live on Avalanche.
The zAVA Launchpad.
Every token is mined with AVAX, not minted. Miners get 90 percent of their AVAX back, supply halves every cycle, and liquidity is burned forever.
No presale. No team allocation. Each token gets its own buy and burn and its own Shield for private transfers.
Every launch and every mine buys and burns $zAVA.
Find it on our site under Launchpad.
