The recent changes at the National Science Foundation are concerning. The NSF is an invaluable resource for psychological scientists and researchers. To ensure scientists can continue to conduct impartial, credible research, the NSF must operate without political interference.
All 22 members of the board that advises and oversees the US National Science Foundation (NSF), a leading funder of basic science, were fired on 24 April without explanation.

U.S. President Donald Trump has fired all 24 members of the National Science Board, the body that oversees the National Science Foundation.
