My position on “late term abortions for convenience” is similar to my position on brain transplants. I don’t have one because they don’t exist.

Has anybody else realised yet that Florida voters decided to increase the property tax exemption by 500% and enact a cap in how much they can raise by each year? one bad hurricane and that state is going fucking bankrupt

Florida voted 62-38 to reduce county revenue by 30% but against expanding the fund the state has for budget deficits 59-41 Abolish ballot measures before idiot voters finish setting the world on fire lol

you need to go another walk this is the most left-wing democratic caucus in history
Adam Hamilton is a centrist pastor running in Kansas and only underperformed El-Sayed (running in the most blue-leaning swing state) by 1.5 points. Given the environment and the political tilt of their respective states, the two worst performing Democratic Senate winners were El-Sayed and Troy Jackson I don't point shit like this out just to make it clear that the left is delusional (although I do enjoy that) but it's just absurd that this Democratic Senate class is actually *more conservative* than the Democratic Senate class it is replacing because of Democratic victories in Kansas, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, and possibly Alaska and Mississippi and yet the left thinks we should defer to them because they gave us our two biggest underperformers in races anyone would have won in this environment In terms of margin of victory, El-Sayed underperformed every other statewide Democrat who was up for election in Michigan

Darlene Graham might have possibly run the worst campaign in history. Like all human history since the dawn of democracy

Cindy Hyde-Smith is going to represent Mississippi in the United States Senate for the next six years. We believe thousands of votes remain to be counted from dozens of Republican counties, and we are confident those votes will reinforce her path to victory. Election officials are continuing the normal process of counting outstanding ballots, including absentee ballots. They must have the time to complete that work and ensure every lawful ballot is accurately counted and every Mississippian’s voice is heard. We expect Democratic lawyers to pull out every stop, and we are prepared. Our focus is on completing the count and returning Cindy Hyde-Smith to the Senate to keep fighting for Mississippi values.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
As of this November 5 post, Democrat Scott Colom led Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith by over 1,000 votes with 96% counted in Mississippi's Senate race, which remained too close to call with outstanding ballots projected to favor Colom. apnews.com/projects/elect… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Unit… mississippitoday.org/2026/11/05/tho…

200-IQ play by florida democrats simply lose while the suicide amendment passes so then you can reap all the benefits from the carnage
Honestly? Probably good for Dems to lose statewide in Florida last night. Looking at how Miami is about to face apocalyptic climate catastrophe and the inevitable implosion of the Florida state budget, the Floridian economy might just collapse in on itself in half a decade

DC statehood is not illegal but it would be impracticable without repealing the 23rd amendment
I oppose Puerto Rico statehood, but it’s not unreasonable to support it. I would respect Puerto Rico statehood as legitimate. D.C. statehood is a nakedly illegal and bad faith power grab and if some future administration tried it, I’d consider it a genuine coup d’état.

Pure gratitude for all of you who watched last night. This started as an experiment with a House special election last year and turned into this

People of Florida. Y’all better hold your damn head high. We broke state legislature super majorities because we drove turnout while everyone wrote us off. We have work to do sure, but let’s celebrate the fact we won 17 seats down ballot. I’m an organizer. And I look forward to getting back to what I love and know best. Organizing THE HELL out of my state. Let’s get to work!

“Dems decided to just give up the seat to the DSA” Girl FUCK you. We Floridians CHOSE Angie Nixon, the establishment chose Alex Vindman & we rejected him. Also, here’s a moderate Dem with support from Schumer vs the grassroots funded leftists that was abandoned by Schumer:
I can't believe we are going to lose Florida because Dems decided to just give up the seat to the DSA

Congratulations to Gov. Ken Griffin and Lt. Gov. Florida Power & Light
The results in Florida's statewide races are as much a story of money as voter registration. Florida Republicans outspent Florida Democrats more than 6-to-1. Byron Donalds alone raised and spent more than $160 million to win the governor's race.
