Flow is ready to launch the next viral app thanks to @GoogleCloud!
With Google Cloud running an execution node, the Flow network can scale without compromising on decentralization and security.
And the latest node upgrade (Crescendo) means Flow now has full EVM equivalence!

With the Crescendo release live on mainnet today, I wanted to call out several technical achievements in the new release that I’m most excited about:
⚡Speed & Latency
📚Storage efficiency
💻Cadence 1.0
🤝EVM on Flow

🛠️ Flow Network Upgrade (Crescendo) 🛠️
The upgrade is almost complete. 447 nodes are running the Crescendo software and blocks are processing normally.
As a final stage, we suggest that developers test and validate that the upgrade was successful for their contracts through their own access nodes.
During this app-testing phase, we request that RPC operators disallow connections to avoid disrupting the tests. This means end-users cannot submit transactions until testing is complete.
The next update will be provided in 3 to 4 hours.

🛠️ Flow Network Upgrade (Crescendo) 🛠️
The Flow network upgrade (Crescendo) will start in 1 hour, at 5am PT. The network will be in maintenance for ~6 hours.
We will provide updates on the upgrade via the Flow Twitter, Discord, and Status Page.

Last night I purchased NFTs on @flow_blockchain from a vending machine in a club in Toyko 🤯
I used Apple Pay, signed up with email, paid no gas fees, & it took <90 seconds. Madness.
Powered by @24karat_io, who will be rolling out a 1,000+ of these machines across Japan 👀
