Let me get this straight.
A guy keeps getting weirdly targeted ads on his new Samsung TV.
So he breaks into his own TV to find out why. 1.2M people watch.
42 hours later, OpenAI deactivates his account. Reason: "Cyber Abuse."
His words: "i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering"
Same week, people on r/claude say Claude now cuts off reverse-engineering write-ups MID-SENTENCE:
"A safety check stopped my response partway through creating the playbook"
The TV is fine.
The guy who opened it is the problem.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Virginia after police showed up at a mother’s home at 2 A.M. and TOWED HER CAR over a SH00TING she had NOTHING to do with...
...because a FLOCK CAM pointed them to the WRONG CAR!!!
Now her car is a TOTAL LOSS and she MIGHT LOSE HER JOB!!!!
Yes, you read that right, a Flock camera got it wrong, the cops took her car ANYWAY, and she’s the one paying for it.
Her name is Rosalyn Crump, she’s a mom raising 3 boys in Richmond VA
On July 29th, just before 2 in the morning, Richmond police officers showed up outside her home on Sussex Street.
She was ASLEEP, but someone woke her up and told her police were outside and her car was being towed.
Police say the Flock system had linked her 2012 Hyundai Elantra to a sh00ting near Gilpin Court and body camera footage shows the officers shining flashlights through her windows.
At one point, one of them seemed to doubt they even had the right car.
They noticed her KIDS’ CAR SEATS were buckled in the back, but they towed it anyway.
Rosalyn came outside and told them flat out: “Y’all got the wrong car.”
She told them she’d been at her mom’s house all day, came home at 4, and waited for her kids to get off the bus at 5.
Nobody had driven her car.
An officer decided her story didn’t match the Flock data and said on camera that she was, “definitely not telling the truth.”
Minutes later, Seibert’s Towing hauled her car away.
If you think that was insane... well, IT GETS WORSE.
About FOUR DAYS later, she finally got a phone call.
Her car had been released FOUR HOURS after they took it... because police had already found the person they were actually looking for.
NOBODY FROM THE POLICE TOLD HER!!!!!
When she went to get her car back, she found it DAMAGED from the tow.
The towing company’s VP admitted fault in writing.
Then the claim went to insurance, and the company said it could no longer settle with her directly.
Her mechanic’s verdict:
TOTAL LOSS.
Richmond police now admit Flock cameras led them to the wrong vehicle.
Meanwhile, Rosalyn has lost wages, can’t get to work on time, and is paying for a RENTAL CAR out of her own pocket just to get her boys where they need to go.
She literally did nothing wrong and was home with her kids.
THIS IS INSANE!!!!!!!!

A photo of a bathroom is uploaded, and the system returns an exact street address.
Graylark Technologies sells an AI tool called Raven that geolocates interior pictures by matching features against millions of scraped real estate listings.
Graylark claims the system helps police locate trafficking victims.
People encounter this when any indoor photo goes online.
By scraping Zillow and Airbnb in violation of their terms, Raven turns temporary real estate photos into a permanent surveillance database, exposing homeowners without their knowledge.
While marketed for severe exploitation cases, Graylark recently demonstrated the AI tracking people who vandalized a street camera, showing police will expand its use.
Anyone whose home was listed online is now permanently cataloged.
No law stops police from using commercial algorithms to bypass physical warrants.
I’d like to publicly thank my wife of 35 years and 6 children for not murdering any of them before or after they were born.
End the first two please. @realDonaldTrump
I used to love HP until they made it nearly impossible to use 3rd party or refilled toner cartridges. I switched to Brother and haven't had any issues.
I have the cheaper laser jet but only print less than 100 pages a week and don't need color. Sold on the brand at this point.

We believe in simple, upfront pricing. Today, too many businesses are beginning to use data and personal tracking to charge people different prices for the exact same thing. We believe this practice is flat-out wrong.
At Steak n Shake, our focus is simple: delivering the highest-quality food at the best possible value. We honor your trust by following the basic principle of the Golden Rule. So we keep our prices completely transparent, and consistent within our respective markets.
🚨 #BREAKING: McDonalds deploys AI to discriminate prices based on a customer's "willingness to pay" to maximize revenue.
Just because I have the right to vote and even an obligation to vote that obligation is gone when neither candidate deserves my vote. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
I’d rather have a known enemy to fight against than a hidden enemy that pretends to be on your side but works against you in the dark.
That’s why I hope many (R)s lose this election so we can restock with real conservatives instead of keeping the closet (D)s we have now.
I withstood the Get Vaccinated! pressure campaign without getting the shot so using the same arguments, in principle, to convince me to vote for worthless (R)s will not work.

Citizens of Springfield, Missouri, showed up to a city council meeting to discuss the city’s Flock contract.
The mayor shut them down and arrested two people for ‘disruption of meetings of the city council.’
Mayor Jeff Schrag doesn't seem to have an account on X, but here are his active social media profiles so you can tell him what you think:

Under Trump’s second term the government has taken minority equity stakes or similar ownership interests in roughly 30 companies, mainly semiconductors, critical minerals, quantum computing and defense. Notable ones include Intel (9.9%), MP Materials (DoD largest shareholder), Lithium Americas, Trilogy Metals, Atlantic Alumina, Vulcan Elements, GlobalFoundries, USA Rare Earth, xLight, Westinghouse (participation interest), L3Harris missile unit, Korea Zinc JV, and quantum firms such as Rigetti, D-Wave, PsiQuantum and Quantinuum. Most are noncontrolling stakes tied to CHIPS Act or Defense/Commerce funding.

Tucker just said it out loud: Trump didn’t fail. He betrayed you on purpose.
He didn’t get overwhelmed.
He didn’t get boxed in.
There was no economic reason.
There was no strategic reason.
He ran on one thing…
then did the exact opposite.
In marriage that’s called cheating.
In business that’s called embezzlement.
When the person you thought was your ally turns out to be working against you…that’s called treachery.
That’s why no one has named their child Judas in 2,000 years.
And that’s exactly what you’re watching at the halfway mark of his second term.
If the holdout juror in the Clancy case started a GoFundMe I would donate. And it would likely eclipse the murderers fundraiser.
