I am starting to lean toward a lot of the operational/execution side of George’s garage simply being ill-prepared for a season-long WDC/WCC push. It’s one thing to maximize a weekend when you’re not in a WCC/WDC fight, but a different beast altogether in a fight. This is where I think Bono, and other individuals who worked in Lewis’ garage and are still around in Kimi’s garage are making the big difference in the small things. It doesn’t explain everything, such as the reliability etc, but it definitely is an uncomfortable truth variable.
