My parents who are in their 80s have had their estimated bill for the year come through. They’ve been told their energy bill is going to be £6k FOR A YEAR it has tripled ffs. We’ve gone from “let the bodies pile high” to let them starve or freeze to death. This is inhumane

And let’s be clear, that none of the cost of producing energy in the world has changed because of war in Ukraine. In fact, right now, there is not even a shortage of energy in the world because of that war: Russia is still supplying oil and gas right now.
