It’s been almost two months since I lost my X blue tick, and honestly, I’ve lost quite a number of followers since then. But one thing I’ve noticed is that some genuine connections remain. I still engage with my mutuals, some engage back, and one even reached out to me in the DM. I was seriously considering not renewing my subscription, especially since I haven’t earned anything from the monetisation programme. But then I had a second thought. Maybe the value of being here isn’t just about getting paid. It’s also about meeting good people, building genuine connections, and creating opportunities to do great things together. To everyone who still engages with my posts and those who have reached out privately, thank you. I see you, and I appreciate you. Sometimes, the real reward is the people we meet along the way. ❤️ Thank you all.🙏🙏 τέλος.

Onion was domesticated in Central Asia. It then got to North Africa, where it's called Al basal, in Arabic. From there, it hot to northern Nigeria, where the Hausa turned it to Albasa. It then got to us from the North, we adopted the name and Yorubanize it to Àlùbọ́sà.
Wetin con be Yoruba name for Alubosa?

You don't need to explain every decision to people who won't live with the consequences.

At some point, you have to stop seeking approval and start taking responsibility for your own life. People will always have opinions, but you’re the one who will live with the consequences of your choices.
You don't need to explain every decision to people who won't live with the consequences.

Adulthood has taught me that being a good person doesn’t guarantee that people will treat you well. You can be loyal, show up for people, and give your best, yet still be overlooked when you need them. I’ve learnt to have a good heart without abandoning myself in the process.
What’s one thing adulthood has taught you that nobody could have prepared you for? Not the usual “life is hard” answer. I want the kind of lesson that changed how you see people, money, friendship, love, or even yourself.

This topic has been setting the app into chaos for the longest. I have not seen anything like it. Everybody should embrace what they want for the sake of peace abeg.
"Pregnancy in Nigeria is a death sentence." For 2-3 straight days, this phrase has set X on fire. It did not start on social media, and it did not start with maternal health. It was forged in the 1980s HIV/AIDS crisis as a political weapon against state neglect.

Some parents sacrificed everything 2 give their children a better life, but those same children sometimes forget them after getting comfortable. Never let success make u helpless or a stranger to your family.

I tell you the revenue a particular business will generate for you not because I'm not aware of the expenditures involved It's because I know that when you subtract all these expenses from the revenue, you still have a huge profits left If I teach you everything at once, you won't even appreciate the value.

Point of correction "some men don't like successful women" I love successful women like mad, bring those funds, I sabi spend Abeg 😂
Every woman's success, to low self-esteem people like you, has to be somewhat tied to a man. Is she jobless? She has quite a huge number of followers on all social media platforms. Do you think all the money she makes, she throws it away? Men don't like successful women; it hurts their Ego.

❗❗THE ONLY THINGS I FEEL EMI MARTÍNEZ HAS OVER MIKE PENDERS RIGHT NOW ARE EXPERIENCE, COORDINATION AND CONFIDENCE. NO DISRESPECT TO EMI, I LOVE THE GUY, BUT HONESTLY, THAT'S HOW I SEE IT! 😭💙 Penders has been so good that, right now, he's barely making us miss Emi Martínez. His composure, ability on the ball and overall performances have given us plenty of reasons to be excited about what we have in this boy. 👏🔥 BUT LET'S NOT GET CARRIED AWAY! Penders is still young, and he has a long way to go. There's so much more for him to learn, so much room for improvement, and that's perfectly fine. He's a young goalkeeper developing his game, not the finished product. And fortunately for both Penders and Chelsea, HE HAS ONE OF THE BEST POSSIBLE GOALKEEPERS TO LEARN FROM IN EMI MARTÍNEZ! 💙🧤 We've seen this story before. Chelsea once had Petr Čech and Thibaut Courtois, two world-class goalkeepers who represented different eras of excellence at the club. Could we be witnessing the beginning of something similar again? 👀 A new generation, a young goalkeeper with enormous potential, and an experienced winner who can help him develop the mental strength, confidence and consistency needed to reach the highest level. For now, I'm simply enjoying this new reality. Chelsea have reasons to be excited about Penders, Martínez brings valuable experience, and we can only hope everything continues to fall into place for Xabi Alonso. CHELSEA FANS, ARE WE WITNESSING THE BEGINNING OF ANOTHER ČECH–COURTOIS-STYLE GOALKEEPING ERA AT STAMFORD BRIDGE? 😭💙 #CFC
Its the way andre santos gave Morgan Rogers a free pass baton here 😂
