With the saddest and heaviest of hearts, we need to inform this community that @foiguru Peter Timmins passed away recently after a brief but courageous battle with illness. Both of his adoring daughters were by his side to the end. He lived a long and meaningful life: a diplomat, lawyer, truth seeker and truth teller, but most of all, he was a treasured husband and the most supportive father two daughters could ever dream of.
This community gave him a lot of joy. In the interests of protecting his privacy, we will be closing this account in the coming weeks. Please feel free to contact me (his daughter) [email protected]
Thanks to all who knew and loved him. He is already greatly missed.

I’d pay good money to have this guy introduce Trump at ALL of his campaign events. 😂😂

.@Richard_D_Boyle blew the whistle. His actions were vindicated by a Govt report, but they’re maliciously prosecuting him. He’s been left, without support, pleading for immunity in the High Court. 😢 #wrong #auspol abc.net.au/listen/programs/r…

If the Australian government respects international law -as it constantly claims- then it should implement the recent recommendations of the ICJ, which means a FULL arms embargo, which covers parts/supplies/technology in addition to whole items & systems of weaponry. Everything.

If you don't know anything about JD Vance's foreign policy views, watch this clip.
The foundational idea of Vance's foreign policy views is "scarcity."
Vance sees the United States as a declining power that can no longer lead the world.

FINAL SUBMISSION DUE - PLEASE HELP. @MarkDreyfus will decide whether Aussie father of six #FreeDanDuggan is extradited to the US. The Duggan family’s final submission is due to him next week. Although they are so very grateful to Bernard Collaery for working pro bono, there are a number of big costs associated with the submission that the family is struggling to pay. Experts, their evidence and advice, researchers and paralegal work all need to be paid for, and without legal aid and with their home frozen by the US, this Aussie family is struggling. They need to raise $51,000, so please donate today: chuffed.org/project/109154-d…

The govt has bought new switchblade killer drones but has decided not to reveal the number purchased or the cost to taxpayers.
Is there any valid reason to keep these costs a secret?

I would vote for Rex Patrick for the federal Senate again in a heartbeat.
Rex has supported me tirelessly since we first met at his senate offices in Adelaide in 2019 when I approached him as a #whistleblower.
I am very grateful @MrRexPatrick 🙏

Despite the big words and rhetoric in Canberra, both the Government and the Opposition seem happy to watch the Duggan family destroyed, and for #FreeDanDuggan to languish in maximum security prison for almost 20 months without local charges or convictions on behalf of the US. But in our nation's capital yesterday, in response to Chinese officials targeting journalist Cheng Lei at a Parliament House event, there were calls for the Government to: “Grow a backbone and stand up for our country. The job of the Prime Minister is to make tough decisions and to call out bad behaviour and to make sure that you do the right thing by Australians." We agree, but what about the Duggans? Stand up to US for this Australian family as well, and set Dan Free! #PoliticalPrisoner #HumanRights #EnoughIsEnough
