Rather than turning immigrants away at the southern borders, the US gvt has been jailing them at the American taxpayers’ expense. Private prison corporations #GEOGroup and #CoreCivic lobbied for this and they are the ones who profit.

NEW: The Texas National Guard is involuntarily activating thousands of troops for its state border mission, with a $300m state funding boost at its back.
At the same time, it cut its tuition assistance program — why most join the Guard — by 54 percent.

@TheTRAPRS came in like superheroes and helped me and @PaulaNelsonBand rescue our godfather’s dogs. @RayLaMontagne ‘s song #Shelter was playing on @kutx as we drove them to @austinpetsalive. Ray was kind enough to let us use his song in the video. Thank you and love to all. ❤️
Like Willie Nelson, Tim O’Connor is a huge part of Austin music history. Tim passed away this summer leaving behind his beloved dogs Bobbie & Yoyo. Check out the rescue video: bit.ly/3FataFp Help out today by donating to their rescue and care: bit.ly/3ml32iJ
