10/ More than anything, thank you. To every creator, collector, supporter, collaborator, and friend who believed in Foster, thank you for giving us the chance to build something ambitious during one of the most formative and experimental periods for digital ownership and online culture.

9/ We’re incredibly grateful to have built alongside teams like @mallowdotart, @exchgART, @solanaspaces, and so many others who helped shape this era of the ecosystem. We’re also deeply thankful for the support from @solana and @superteam. We wouldn’t have made it this far without them.

8/ Our belief in the ideas that inspired Foster hasn’t changed. While this journey is coming to an end, the relationships, lessons, and experiences built through Foster will stay with us forever.

7/ While we saw real signs of progress, we ultimately weren’t able to reach the level of traction needed to stay operational long-term. That’s difficult to accept, but after exhausting every path available to us, we believe this is the right decision.

6/ We believed deeply in that direction and gave it everything we had. We stretched our runway, explored partnerships, experimented across digital and physical products, and worked toward experiences that extended beyond purely onchain interactions.

5/ As the space evolved, so did our focus. What began as a 1/1 NFT-native marketplace expanded into broader ideas around physical products, digital communities, and culture. That shift ultimately led us toward Foster Studio and creator commerce.

4/ Through every phase of the market, especially the hardest ones, we kept building. We stayed lean, continued shipping, adapted constantly, and tried to operate with integrity every step of the way.

3/ Over the last 5 years, we launched Foster Marketplace and Foster Studio, supported creators around the world, onboarded thousands of users, and built through every market cycle. We’re proud to have played a small role in the early creative culture on Solana.

2/ Foster started in June 2021 as an experiment around onchain ownership and creator economies on Solana. Back then, the ecosystem was still incredibly early. What this community built from those foundations exceeded anything we imagined.

1/ After a lot of reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to begin winding down operations. The platform will officially sunset in June. This is not an easy message to write.
