Very happy the #NJDevils do not appear to be overpaying today. The roster is already improved through trades so no reason to spend today, more can be addressed through more trades. Sitting pat is the right thing to do today.

Optimal day for the devils would to not sign anyone in this free agent class.

I’ll sum this up for everyone. He doesn’t know anything.

🚨 #Sources: The NHL & NBA are reportedly close to completing a trade. To the NBA: Pierre LeBrun & Darren Dreger To the NHL: Future considerations No salary retention on LeBrun or Dreger. Solid work by the NHL to move on from two insiders who have been declining for years.

I will say I’m shocked Sunny was able to trade Markstrom at all but to do it with no retention and get a return that improves the roster is literal insanity. #NJDevils

I wonder if Fitzgerald is just sitting in a room crying right now? #NJdevils

I don’t think @NJDevils fans realize just how fucked this team is. You all want the moon but are completely disregarding the damage Fitzgerald did to this team with these contracts. Pack it in. You’re getting the 12th pick tonight and maybe you’ll see the kid in 3-4 years.

If the #NJdevils still have five 1st round picks tomorrow especially 12th overall this offseason is already a failure. Sorry but Fitzgerald did alot of damage to my patience. Vibes alone won’t change that, right now Mehta is a vibe, I want to see actions taken.

Sunny Mehta’s 1st act of business as @NJDevils GM should be firing Rogalski immediately and with out waiting another day. He is the reason goalies come here and die. Blackwood and Wedgwood were the best tandem in the league and they were both on this team at the same time.

I’m honestly embarrassed for the people who still go to and even watch #NJdevils games at this point. Stop giving them your money and find a hobby that brings joy, not endless misery.

Que up the Fitzgerald quotes. “Came in second” “Takes two to tango” “We could have done some some things but we believe in the group we have” “We tried to make a hockey trade” #NJdevils

So what time do we expect Tom Fitzgerald to do his first bone headed move of the day? I’m really expecting to come away from this annoyed. #NJDevils

Trade deadline is tomorrow and as a @NJDevils I have absolutely zero faith anything will come of it other than something negative that doesn’t help the team now or later.

The @NJDevils have no future with tom Fitzgerald leading the way. I will not support the team anyway until he’s gone. I suggest the rest of the fans do the same.

Leave it to @NJDevils GM to hold an impromptu emergency press conference to calm the fan base and answer questions but fuck it up and make the fan base have less faith with 38 minutes of bullshit answers. #NJdevils

Everything in NJ has gotten more expensive in the last 6 years, NJ is at its least affordable it’s ever been but sure keep telling people it’s better.

Nicole Rodriguez@NicoleNJPPJan 13

Affordability crisis is real. Under @GovMurphy, NJ is stronger. We raised the min wage, expanded paid fam leave, reduced incarceration, expanded EITC, repro rights, created child tax credit, & enacted progressive taxes like millionaires, mansion, & corporate transit fee, & more!

Don’t let yesterday’s win fool you into thinking @NJDevils management isn’t a disaster and needs to be changed now.
