So a friend of mine just got paid for using my project, Vitedge. This is a great feeling I didn't anticipate when doing open source 🤩

It's always fun to work with @vite_js ⚡
🎉 @vite_js will soon be the build tool for Hydrogen. Shout out to @frandiox for getting this to run on the workerd runtime. One of the best unlocks with Hydrogen DX was getting dev & prod to run identically … this let's you keep that, but also get Vite's HMR + ecosystem.

Brian was my manager. He helped navigate us through choppy waters during early iterations of a Hydrogen and Oxygen. If you get the chance, hire him!
I am incredibly grateful to everyone I worked with at Shopify. We launched some fantastic products and I learned a ton. It was a wonderful ride and I wish you all the best. Off to find a new adventure!

After less than a year at Shopify, I was impacted by yesterday's layoffs am now looking for work again. This is pretty sudden and unexpected for both me and my whole team, and is the first time I have ever been laid off/downsized, etc. I am still processing this, 1/3

Shoot. One of my Hydrogen teammates just used some code in "React.__SECRET_INTERNALS_DO_NOT_USE_OR_YOU_WILL_BE_FIRED" for experimental RSC stuff. What should I do?

As a web developer this is one of the happiest announcements in a while: Google Search ended support for IE11 in its main product 🎉 (you can still search but will get a fallback experience). I'm mostly posting this so you can send it to your boss 😛. We did the Math. It is time.
