I’m Franki. I’m 18 and a presidential history geek. I specialize in the 1920s but also enjoy learning about other periods!
My art is generally made for educational purposes and to promote historical discussion.

Had the privilege of randomly meeting an older gentleman today who’s been involved in political campaigns since the 60s. His lived experiences and optimism were so inspiring!!! He also happened to be from around my county as well!!
The difference in attitude between my old and new church community is wild. Everyone here is really sweet. Met a couple whose son is an alum of my college and they were SO encouraging towards my studies 😭❤️ I’ve also met a few history nerds here as well!!
Officially switched my major to a BA in Visual Critical Studies! I’ll still be taking lots of art courses, but I’ll also be working on a thesis for the next few years :) I’ll be geared up for grad school, which is really nice.

Maybe it’s just the fact that the first semester is always harrowing but I feel like I’m holding myself back by going to an art college… heavily considering transferring
