If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times. Goalkeepers are far too protected, both at pro level and grass roots. The amount of times I’ve encountered similar from a charging goalkeeper jumping knee first towards me.
Something needs to be done!
🚨 BREAKING: Jesús de Miguel, CD Tenerife player, suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest following a heavy collision with Andorra goalkeeper Owono during their match.
He was rushed to hospital by ambulance, and Tenerife have since announced that his neurological condition has worsened. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A deeply worrying situation. Prayers for his recovery. 🙏❤️🩹

I thank God for the kind of man I married. When one of my friend tried to pressure me to tell my husband to propose and do this kind of rubbish before wedding, I just blocked her till after the marriage. She dey madddd!.
My husband told me verbatim "I will not kneel down nor give you engagement ring, I don't follow trends, I be African man, just tell your Dad I am coming to see him next week. The success of our marriage will be the effort we both put in and not ring validation".
E be pain me at first but then, I sat down and thought about it, he is right. We will teach our Sons never to kneel to propose to someone who they're going to be housing and feeding.
This is just embarrassing and the girl self no fine oo.
Mtchewwwwww

Your Excellency, Governor of Edo State, if the NDLEA Edo State Command is not demonstrating the urgency and commitment required to tackle the growing drug problem in Benin City, particularly around the Airport Road axis, then it is time for your government to take decisive action.
We urgently call on you to establish an independent, state-level committee against drug abuse and trafficking, with a clear mandate to investigate, monitor and support efforts to rid our communities of illegal drugs.
This committee should work independently, collaborate with relevant security agencies, engage community leaders and residents, and regularly report its findings and progress to the public.
Our streets must not become safe havens for drug dealers while our youths continue to suffer the consequences of drug abuse.
Your Excellency, this is beyond politics. It is about public safety, the future of our youths and the security of Edo State.
Benin City, especially the Airport Road axis, needs urgent attention. We cannot afford to keep watching and waiting. The time for decisive action is now.
RIP the honourable

Benin radio has lost a gem
When I heard of the demise of the ‘Big Sheriff’
this evening, I was shocked to my bones.
I initially thought maybe it was a joke till a friend called me this evening to verify that the ‘Honorable’ has departed this world
In Edo state, I respect and listen to two sports journalists on radio; Salihu Ibrahim of KU FM and Gbenga James of Super FM, these two dissect and analyze sports with poise and charisma.
Mr Gbenga anchors a popular radio program; ‘What the Honorable has to say’ by 9am weekdays, he brought robust and sound discussion/commentary on that program.
It saddens my heart that death took him so early, I can still hear his voice from my mind.
May your Soul RIP Mr Olugbenga James aka the Big Sheriff and The Honorable
My condolences to the Super FM Benin Family

Did you know why no one talks about the Arab trans saharan slave trade?
Because they castrated and technically killed all the people they enslaved unlike Europeans.
For over more than 1,300 years, the Arab slave trade largely erased the prospect of organized descendant communities that could later demand recognition or reparations.
Male captives were commonly castrated to produce eunuchs for harem and palace service, a procedure that killed a large share of them, while female captives were taken mainly for concubinage.
Survivors and their mixed offspring were absorbed into Arab populations through conversion to Islam, manumission, intermarriage, and cultural assimilation, producing the groups now known as Black Arabs.
The result was the near-absence of a distinct, self-identifying victim diaspora—unlike the outcome of other slave trades—which some observers link to broader differences in social and political development between Western societies and regions of the Sahel and Arabian desert.
The Europeans were kinder and more humane.
But you done divorce why Ms. (Miss) dey your name when you claim say your husband pay times 3
Una sabi lie for this app
I remember when my husband came to pay my bride price.
My parents had initially guided him on how to approach and relate with his in-laws. But when the larger family suddenly decided that every item on the marriage list must be provided three times, those same parents went quiet.
My husband's family advised him to walk away. They felt my family was taking entitlement too far.
But my husband said he wouldn't disembark on a promise he had made.
He stayed.
He followed through.
And we got married.
Our families too do sha.. 🙂
Lol na Mobil be that 🤣🤣🤣🤣

...as parents, it's your duty to teach your sons sexual discipline from age 14. The inability to control lust has affected the decision making of many young men! We just got horny bros around with weak brains, low self-esteem and can't handle rejection.
