THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!! READ CAREFULLY GUYS AND BE CAUTIOUS!
Earlier today, we detected evidence of a security incident on #AO3. We are still in the early stages of investigating. No AO3 data has been deleted. All your works, bookmarks, kudos, etc., are safe. Learn more at otwstatus.org/incidents/g12j…

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

if ao3 means so much to you and is such a big part of your daily life that you feel the weight of its absence now, let it also be a reminder about the importance of leaving kudos and comments even if its just a simple "i loved this!" to show writers you care about their hard work
All the people casting lifelines to bridge the gap while Ao3 is down, this is best side of fandom. @ao3org @AO3_Status

I am coming off lock to tell everyone this while AO3 is down. There is another archive site that I use called squidgeworld.org/
It uses the source code of AO3 so it looks the same but yellow.
I will be uploading all my fics to that site in the meantime later tonight.

Oh my god it’s happening again it’s hard to reply to everyone and keep up but in case you need it: I have my overall organized fic archive, divided into folders of fandoms/ships: drive.google.com/drive/folde…
And drives that don’t belong to me but I’ve acquired (linked below)

Such a sweet story from another fan at SCC. Jensen heard about a young girl who’d been waiting outside all day with her parents after missing out on a photo op. He came out to say hi to the fans outside & he later invited her in for a chat. She left crying happy tears 🥹

Too many losses since the 15th... personal and personal inspirations. 💔😢
Patrick Stewart, who will be remembered most for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86.
