Every film festival is designed around stars, actors, producers and at times directors. We want to give space for people behind the camera who actually make things work.

When people are born & brought up in a city, it becomes their hometown. Same goes with startups.
Yesterday, we launched "The Founding Co." in Hyderabad, to make the city hometown for startups built by ambitious early stage founders.

AI filmmakers are one of the MOST in-demand people in the creative industry right now. This is the dilemma right now.
There are NOT enough AI filmmakers, partly because being really good at editing, cinematography, AND actual AI skills is a LOT to master. The very best AI filmmakers are very rare.
There are 6 entities that are hunting for them, causing a squeeze in the job market:
> Big studios - want to hire AI filmmakers for experimental and research projects
> AI studios - they’re experiencing demand for their own projects and clients and need AI filmmakers to train and work on those projects
> AI tool companies - want to hire AI creative directors and filmmakers to showcase their tools
> AI streamers - who want to fill up their catalog with AI content
> Ad Agencies - nobody cares if an ad is made with AI. Agencies are training up their own people to do AI to cost save on ads and…
> Brands - are demanding quicker, cheaper, and more variety and since it’s so easy, they’re also hiring to tinker and even shorten feedback timelines
While one side of the creative industry is losing jobs, demand in this industry is exploding and not abating. AI skills are very easy to learn but VERY hard to master.

Just watched this AI-generated short film and yeah… anyone still saying AI can’t create something watchable is seriously behind.
This isn’t “AI makes trash” anymore, this is real storytelling, and real potential.
The people actually using these tools already know: AI isn’t replacing creativity, it’s leveling it up. Studios aren’t ignoring it – they’re evolving with it.
Watch this and tell me AI hasn’t come a long way.

Google’s new Nano Banana 2 is F*cking crazy!
I gave it one product photo...
and it generated agency-level ads in under 2 minutes.
No editor.
No capcut.
No $10k/month creative retainers.
Then I combined it with my custom GPT pipeline — and suddenly my ads started looking like top 1% DTC brands... for $0.
Honestly, it feels like something Google released by mistake. It’s almost unreal.
Should I drop it?
Comment "NANO" and I'll send it

2026 is going to be so fu*kedup for trad media.
With models like Seedance V2 and Kling 3.0, production will be more accessible than a box full of Takis, lol.
The most valuable role on the planet is going to be exceptional writers.

i repeat, your dream shouldn't be to get to SF, raise funding, or get an O1 visa.
you dream should be to do something beautiful, and coming to America maybe happens to be a checkpoint of it.
i hate the notion of ppl romanticizing everything about SF.
you just feel smarter by being around other smart people in SF and with their labels. no matter how good these people around you are, i don't think a person is truly full if you're empty of substance inside you.
the hardest part about this is many of these startups and companies will pay you a truckload of money -- especially in a bubble -- to turn down other opportunities and live the American dream.
the American dream is beautiful. but it's important to not confuse signal chasing over substance.
