✨️vent post✨️
It's so difficult to think about how just 5 years ago, I was the healthiest I had ever been, just started to work in massage therapy after graduating, and not to toot my own horn, but I was very good at my job lol- with no idea that I had EDS even. (1/4)

Tomorrow will be a dark day for many.
For disabled, marginalized, LGBTQ+ folks & women. For anyone who still cares about others
The disability community saw this coming. It’s important we listen & understand that labelling people as expendable for 5 years leads nowhere good 🧵

I don't trust anyone mocking people for being upset over the TikTok ban in the US. Saying stuff like they're gonna have to get a "real job" now.
When many of the people that rely on that app are disabled and won't be hired for a "real job".

it’s not about the app. it’s abt America wanting to control EVERYTHING. it’s abt hypocrisy: claiming TikTok is a threat to our data when meta, google, & apple take MORE of our data than TikTok did. it’s abt social media companies being in bed with the gov. it’s abt censorship.

this is literally a stunt all planned by trump. look at how the message changed within 20 mins…. trump is gonna come in office and play savior by unbanning the app to get more sympathy and likes from the public. do not fall for this bs. #tiktokban

If you voted for Trump I have zero interest in working with or selling to you. My art is not for you.
You are not an ally to minorities, LGBTQIA, women, now more than ever folks need a safe space and your thoughtlessness will not be tolerated.

Kids have been back in school for years. The “lockdown” learning loss was estimated well under 1 year.
Stop looking for excuses. It’s brain damage.
Letting kids be continuously infected with a neuroinvasive virus is bad for cognition.

I will always be bitter about NYC’s COVID policies — keeping kids out of schools for too long. Zoom school didn’t work for most. Chronic absenteeism surged and hasn’t recovered.
The plan to drop HS exit exams means @NYSEDNews has given up and just wants to hide its fail.
