Evan Mobley Postgame After Win vs Timberwolves: “[1:04, Three Point Shot] I’ve been working on it for years. You just have to trust the process. Last playoffs I had a few big ones and they really helped me build my confidence. This year I’m knocking them down and shooting with confidence—[1:40, Overall Player] I think both. On the defensive end, I’m protecting the paint as best I can. Offensively, wherever my teammates need me whether that’s threes, inside, setting screens, I’m just trying to make winning plays—[2:08] I just had a chip on my shoulder. Last year we went far but we didn’t do what we wanted to do so I locked in on everything I needed to work on….hopefully at game 82, we’re at peak. That’s the goal right now. I’m just taking it game by game—[3:00, Meleek Thomas] He’s a great player. He has a spark to him that not everyone has. He plays with energy, always attacking the rim, shooting his open ones. I think he’s only gonna get better the more minutes he gets—[3:25, Team Aspirations/Expectations] We can match up with anyone…we just gotta focus on ourselves and be locked in for a full 48 minutes. If we’re locked in on what we’re doing, I think we can win the championship and that’s the ultimate goal.”

Meleek Thomas: “I’m strong in my faith. My motto and method is whatever God put you through, if you feel it’s bad as a person, then it’s for you. I was just telling myself, me not playing, that’s for me. He wants me to persevere and overcome whatever…stay ready and your moment will come because you can’t really keep a star in the closet for too long.”
