The Housing Authority’s longtime CFO, Fernando Aniban, is involved in a multi-level marketing business.
Aniban’s LinkedIn advertises his “freelance” work with World Financial Group — a financial services MLM, which has been scrutinized by regulators in the U.S. and Canada.
Brooke VandeBerg, chair of the HACM board, pledged major reforms “in response to mounting public concerns.”
“We want to rebuild trust in the Housing Authority,” she said.
