No company (especially not riot) makes anything with the sole intent of it flopping miserably and making them look bad. Somewhere along the way, there was some degree of success expected from its creation. Everyone in charge of actually making decisions for it just sucked

The main issue with heartsteel is that it is less of a band and more of a quirky fandom project that only appeals to a an incredibly small niche. They completely forgo the good music production and aura farming everyone else gets in favor of adding Cute Wholesome Chungus Moments
