Wonderful cause, all the best to your success!
We lost two pregnancies a few years ago before our healthy, perfect baby girl was born. We never found out why, or what we could do to change the outcome. As NASA and SpaceX engineers, when a satellite fails, it's not acceptable and we investigate why. I was shocked at the lack of answers in miscarriages. We discovered the research simply hasn't been done, and the funding levels have been abysmal. This is why we started the Delphine Foundation. Our ambitious goal is to dramatically reduce miscarriage rates, and we're learning so much about preconception, fertility, and miscarriage science to improve outcomes. This is one of the most meaningful things I've worked on. If it resonates with you, or with someone you know, I'd be grateful if you shared with your network. 👶 🤱 👼 🛰️ 🚀 😍 delphinefoundation.org/

This is one of the most common conversations I have Return on Headache Great read and lens to view decisions as your net worth goes up and your years remaining go down
After advising thousands of entrepreneurs, one metric separates the wealthy: Not ROI. Return on Hassle. The richer they get, the more they optimize for peace over profit. Here's their framework: (You're going to want to bookmark this for later!)

I would also add when life is about to change, like retirement. If you have never done it before, working with someone who has been there may save a lot of unnecessary headaches.
Best time to start working with an advisor: -increase in household income -business has grown a lot -starting a business -getting married -got an inheritance -you don't have the time anymore -it's too complex now for you to manage -you get new equity comp

Did Trump just try and force international buyers to buy more US? Or Did he just go up to the grocery store and say “I’ll charge myself 25% more, until I buy less things”

A quick way to think about where to spend your time 60/30/10 Earn/spend/everything else 60% of the time on how to increase your income 30% of the time on how to improve your spending 10% of the time on how to invest, tax strategies, estate planning, etc
People spend way too much time trying to figure out how to make that extra little bit of return on every dollar When in reality, you'd be way better off figuring out how to make more income

Me after putting my child to bed
I don’t want to flex but I think I may have just set a world record. Put my kid back into their bed 83 times this evening.

Financial planning gets messy when it comes to real life. When a clients child is causing the parent financial hardship, something needs to change. My advice usually is, blame me. “My finance guy told me I need to make a change.” I hope you have someone who has your back during one of the loneliest conversations in your life.

It can’t! Life is too unpredictable But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t plan. The right financial habits + the right financial plan May lead to a lower stress adjustments when the surprises show up

Excellent financial habits listed below But habits are not a financial plan A plan is personal and maximizes the advantages of your financial habits
Sound financial planning can be incredibly simple: 1. Spend less than you make 2. Avoid bad debt like the plague 3. Come up with measurable goals 4. Save & invest toward those goals 5. Enroll in employee benefits 6. Have the proper insurance coverage 7. Create an estate plan

Roth IRA, Mega-Backdoor Roth, Roth conversions They all mean different things but the goal is similar. To move as much of your savings to an after tax account. Then if used properly you may never have to pay taxes again. These accounts are powerful and should be central to almost all financial plans. Have you reviewed yours?

A strange part of personal finance is that in order to ignore money - you usually have to obsess over it for a bit. Once the habits are set then it gets easier to ignore it again.
