as much as this scares me and I feel its not fair on artists, I think Corey is onto something ... I've noticed most new music is ai slop anyway, so why not create something that I actually want movies will prob follow the same path ... fight me on this๐Ÿฟ
AI generated music is 1000x better than real music. Today I canceled Spotify and SiriusXM because I finally tested Suno. What sold me was the first prompt I gave it: โ€œMy favorite artists are A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Sleep Token. Analyze all their hits and generate a song Iโ€™m likely to love based on those artists.โ€ It one shots an absolute banger in 10 seconds. I'll link the song in the next tweet for anyone curious. Why would I ever go back to Spotify/SiriusXM when I can generate music perfectly tailored to my taste on command, for free? Not affiliated with Suno in any way btw, it was just one of those moments where I was so impressed with AIโ€™s capability I had to say something about it.

๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ FTW
Interesting how things change: ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ Canggu, Bali at the bottom now and ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Cape Town is at the top!

RIP Foursquare ๐Ÿ’€ Sooo many learnings from @dens here teendrama.substack.com/p/somโ€ฆ As a founder, you would be silly to ignore Know when to let go: Fall in love with building the product, but know when to grant yourself permission to step away ...
I just became the mayor of Carluccis on @foursquare!

In todays episode of "Which SaaS gets disrupted by an indie hacker who clones it and open-sources it"...
So many people asked me to make it open-source, so here you go: MailCheap โ€” Self-hosted newsletters on Amazon SES: ๐Ÿ’ธ $0.10 per 1,000 emails โœ๏ธ Editor with live preview ๐Ÿ“ฐ Multiple newsletters ๐Ÿ“ Signup forms + API ๐ŸŒ Public archive ๐Ÿ“Š Stats & growth charts ๐Ÿงน List cleanup ๐Ÿ“ฌ Bounce + spam protection โ†’ github.com/marclou/mailcheap 92% cheaper than Beehiiv (for me). Have fun!

we spent 20+ years optimizing for clicks, now we're focused so ChatGPT can take credit for our homework. Is GEO building your brand, or just training your competitor's answer engine for free?

humans are incredible
28 years ago, Karl Bushby left the UK in an attempt to become the first person to circumnavigate the world on foot. Yesterday, he arrived in Dover for the final leg of his journey to his motherโ€™s home in Hull.

In 2008, Steve Sheraton launched iBeer for $2.99 โ€” it became one of the first viral App Store hits, reportedly earned $10kโ€“$20k per day at peak, reached ~90M downloads, and he later left it all to live on a farm in Spain.
