Title 42 isnā€™t supposed to be border managementā€”itā€™s a public health order that was never based on public health. It was weaponized by Trump and Biden for 3 years with help from the courts, leaving a bottleneck on our asylum system. This ā€œsurgeā€ was predictable and preventable.
