Thousands of Australians whose lives have been ruined by covid jabs are still waiting for compensation. Thousands more aren't even eligible to apply!
The stubborn refusal to address the scheme’s narrow criteria is cruel and inhumane.
Still waiting for a response from @AlboMP
Now is the time to take action — CAMPAIGN FOR COMPENSATION!
There are less than 30 days left before the unjust Australian COVID-19 vaccine compensation scheme comes to an end.
Nothing will change unless each of us meet with, or write to, our own federal Member of Parliament and lobby them to make a change.

One of the hallmarks of a good vaccine program, according the vaccine policy researchers, is a compensation scheme. It ensures trust and addresses the fact some will be harmed while the population benefits. We need the scheme and we need it to run properly.

The craziest thing about this is that these 400 million people with #LongCovid still contribute to the global blood supply.
In a paper from the Dr. Akiko Iwasaki lab at Yale they wrote "the use of blood products ...from people with LC in treatment settings requires careful consideration, as they may pose pathologic risks to the recipients".
This should give us all pause.

People working under the names of large institutions without a solid foundation won’t solve the problem. Listen to the #MECFS experts who have been in the field for so long, listen to the patients, listen to the patients, and listen to the patients. #LongCovid #LongCovidKids

The NDIS is failing profoundly disabled people who are stuck in group homes. Here’s how to fix this:

I’ve been reviewing the literature - mostly qual - on 2020 experiences re disabled ppl. Part of a piece on how ableism has grown because of Covid
The thing is - as you would entirely expect - the picture is highly mixed. My colleagues and I raised concerns about this in 2020

Wow.
Australians with intellectual/learning disabilities aged 50-64 face 1,800 deaths per 100,000, over 5 times higher than 350/100,000 for same age group in general population. Urgent action needed to address this disparity. Source: AIHW (2020) & AIHW Deaths data (2018)

Here are the rest of the changes to the NDIS that were discussed long before the NDIS Review dropped. They planned it before Lisa Paul, Bill Shorten's new employer at the University of Canberra, had handed down the NDIS Review.
This was the LNP's plan. dataresearch.ndis.gov.au/rep…
For those not already aware, support coordination is destined to go under the new plans for the #NDIS. They will replace support coordinators and local area coordinators with navigators, required to be 'locally based with specialised knowledge'. "
