Used #ChatGPT to create a heatmap of the total number of pomodoros 🍅 I completed from May - July with data from @getsaent's Lifeline app.
Gotta work on those slacked-off Friday mornings. 😊

Good question! That's actually a consideration.
The way this points system works is that you get points for:
1. Focus
2. Taking breaks
Also, if you go over 90-100 mins without breaks, you stop receiving points for focus.
So more work/hours ≠ more points.

Focus is accepting chaos elsewhere.
Came across this excerpt from "The One Thing." It's so true that if you prioritize and focus on what's most important, the other things you ignore try to drag you down and can feel chaotic.
"Accept chaos. Recognize that pursuing your ONE Thing moves other things to the back burner. Loose ends can feel like snares, creating tangles in your path. This kind of chaos is unavoidable. Make peace with it. Learn to deal with it. The success you have accomplishing your ONE Thing will continually prove you made the right decision." @garykeller @jaypapasan

Should #SaaS products do #BlackFriday or #CyberMonday discounts?
As an app creator (@getsaent), I'm tempted to discount our lifetime tier to test different pricing.
As a subscriber, I'd feel cheated cause a bargain shopper gets a good deal, whereas my loyalty goes unrewarded.

I'm doubling down on #digitalfasting this week. I want to make the time between my 1st and last check of reactive channels—emails, @SlackHQ, social—as short as possible.
I'll use a messaging log in @RoamResearch and a weekly tally in my productivity metrics. #weeklyworkflow

Last week I experimented with #meditating during every break between #deepwork sessions. The practice seemed to impact my work and all other areas of life positively, both subjectively and in the data I track (see attached screenshots).

💡 In 1942, 8 hours of sleep was the norm. Today, people get an average of 6.8.
New research and the $411B toll this costs the US each year has people finally "waking up" to its importance.
Think the meditation industry is big?
