RIP both. @cricketcomau
Compared to large scale loss of life this just a machine - but it was a one of a kind machine.
Apparently there was an issue with the automatic renewal of my domain name and people were unable to get to Practical Gremlin for a while. It's all sorted out now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to talk @AWSreInvent about #NoSQL database services. In person sessions are just more authentic for both the audience and the speaker. #amazonkeyspaces #dynamodb #neptune #serverless

Pagination in @apachetinkerpop Gremlin can be tricky at times. The latest Amazon Neptune engine release adds a results cache that allows an easy way to work with ranges over a result set. docs.aws.amazon.com/neptune/…
I was watching a bit of the Packers/Bengals game. Went to overtime and was quite tense. Right before what turned out to be the winning field goal was kicked, Fox had to switch away to another game due to "NFL rules". Rather odd rule stopping the viewer seeing the exciting finale!
Tense football day for Texas colleges. UT almost beat OU and A&M did what most thought impossible - beat Alabama!
Went to a movie theater for the first time since 2019. I have to Say, as a James Bond fan since I was a kid, No time to die was pretty emotional. So many links to prior movies. A solid movie and pretty moving if you are a student of all things Bond!
I don't think it's a secret that I have a lot of fun playing with the Gremlin query language and graph databases in general. This post takes a quick look at the evolution of Apache TinkerPop and some reasons application developers like working with Gremlin.aws.amazon.com/blogs/opensou…
