I don't get the negativity towards @PlayKintara and other solana games being "too simple", "ugly" and "full of speculation". What excites me about the recent trend 👇 🔥 GAMES ARE ACTUALLY PLAYABLE They are simple if you compare to successful web2 games with years of development, that's for sure. But then look at roblox and tell me again that Kintara is too simple 🙃 We have a wave of games that are *actually playable* in realtime instead of it being a gamified defi app or a slow turn-based 1v1 🤏 LOW ENTRY BARRIER Low entry barrier (a few bucks) makes it playable for almost everyone. That's all it takes to get started, you don't need to invest hundreds of thousands of $$$ in high end gear to even have an attempt 🫂 SOCIAL You can see other players around you doing stuff in real-time. Think memecoins but instead of having holders in discord and telegram you are actually chopping trees and mining coal with them, or farming. You have conversations, you bond, you make friends, you have fun. That social part then acts as a catalyst for spending on cosmetics to flex. Cosmetics are the final boss of web3 games imo - player buys something that doesn't increase their earnings in any way. Get a strong cosmetics economy going and it's no longer a zero-sum game. 📸 CONTENT Games with hundreds or thousands of players wandering in the world creates unlimited content to be shared on social media. It's buzzing. Hence for the reasons above and more, I remain bullish and hope we get a chance for games to compete with memecoins which are boring as f*ck Rant over, go @PlayKintara
