Dont let your ego keep you unemployed, even if it means taking a "lower" job. Also increase your tech hobbies. Most folks I know who didnt recover from the 00s crash had long periods w/o work (big resume gap) & skills atrophied making it even harder to get work.

It really isn't fixable. The theory is that PVC based plastic wrap attracts & binds TCA (the chemical that causes it), but it's not like it actually pulls it from the wine. You'd have better luck making a PVC pipe wine luge. Also, most plastic wrap isn't made with PVC anymore.
