I will NEVER understand why people say heโs a bad cook!!! ๐ญ Ironically, Tom and Mark have been shown to be horrible cooks! ๐คฃ I just guess most fans still have a poor grasp on Mattโs traits and just reduce him to the โdumb oneโ, hence the false info about him being a bad cook ๐

This is a really good point. Many of the artists on the show were also struggling with this and internet upload speeds from across the world. My internet cost $130 per month which I heard was expensive than other countries. As well some countries internet was very slow.

I can understand this being said about human characters, but there is truly no reason in my mind that justifies their depiction of the Southeast Asian Naga. Even the 2D opening sequence design looked better than the elongated cat we saw in the movie. Itโs disgraceful.
"Why doesn't the final character design ever look as good as the concept art?"
Because the designs they come up with in concept art are iterative and are often found to not be easily readable in 3D space under different lighting conditions or with different facial expressions.
They also have to be easy to animate when budgets are constrained, and have to be possible to make into a toy for merchandising.
There's also just plain old marketability. A design that's too exotic risks alienating potential audiences. That means it has to follow current trends and recognizable shape language.
Also, sometimes the concept art you see is from a completely different conception of the character. A character's personality and role in the story can change significantly over the course of production or development, sometimes going from a villain or side character to a protagonist or vice versa.

To be honest Iโm so happy that this trait of his is still prevalent, as I think itโs super cute ๐ฅน๐ Matt finding his artistic passion through the culinary arts is a great way to thematically mesh him with the others, as Edd is a visual artist while Tom is a musical artist! โ๏ธ๐ผ

Unlike his passion for gaming being โforgottenโ, Mattโs cooking hobby has at least stayed prevalent throughout the entirety of EWโs history, mainly through the comics! ๐ He really is so passionate with his bakes in particular, alongside putting aside his ego for critiques! ๐ด
Why is it considered radical to think that ANYONE who works 40+ hours a week in the richest country on earth, should be able to afford food, a home, and a reasonable standard of life? This was normal 70 years ago with less technology and less worker productivity.
