Is that actually a consideration that would reach the developers?
The idea of getting so upset about a canon relationship because it ruins your imagined headcanon self-ship(???) is so alien to me, and kinda anti-art, that I can't imagine it would be a roadblock, right?
There's complaints about the moral policing from "woke" people in FFXIV's community, but despite going against that grain sometimes, I have NEVER made more people angry at me on xivtwt before this post where I gently raise an eyebrow at attraction to a character who looks 14
I get the gist but this feels like a weird spot to land on
I love when the game carefully worldbuilds the setting. I just thought the actual world of Tural was broad but shallow relative to what we had before. The pacing was an issue but he had no comment about lack of tension?

It felt like Koana had nothing to do in the story because there were no problems arising from his outsider status and constant march for technological progress at the cost of tradition. He was quickly reduced to Wuk Lamat's big brother and nothing else, which felt less compelling
Yoshi P on, presumably, including characters/elements (like Gaia) in MSQ.
I don't quite get this logic once the content is done, and it also feels like you're limiting the main story in favor of the side stories?
Also surprised that it means the Twelve are just gone from MSQ
You'd think you could mine tons of narrative from a pantheon of twelve gods and how people relate to them. They still can, I guess, but you're just gonna have to not acknowledge that you know their nature and killed them...?
I admit that I was being cute with my Ysayle prediction. But, even if I'm wrong, I REALLY hope this one is true.
It would be such a cool addition to the setting if Hydaelyn had to deal with five realmships visibly floating in the air over old zones, depositing new cultures
Replying to @gmElezen
Other thought is that it shows the full realmship armada at the end. And we're still not seeing what gold light they're all heading towards. I still think, or at least REALLY HOPE, that we lead them out of the Fourth to the Source so it's not a bottle expansion.
What if the Garleans got their hands on electrope and fused it with magitek to make something terrifying? What if the realmships park over the Northern Empty, take refuge over Old Sharlayan, but nearby Aerslant feels threatened and relations between them and Sharlayan worsen?
I just remembered that Yoshi P mentioned that one of the big themes of Evercold will be unfreezing grief and I'm now realizing that my bargaining that this woman is our Ysayle instead of a lookalike is falling into the trap they'll probably break our hearts with
