We have a fabulous program coming up on Sat. night. @missymazzoli’s fabulous “Ecstatic Science” plus the Westlake Piano Trio, Borodin’s rarely performed Piano Quintet and that old slouch, JS Bach. It will be a memorable night as we farewell flautist Geoff Collins.

It’s always a pleasure to play Peter’s music - we fondly remember all the time we spent with him, especially in the studio recording all his Quartets for #TallPoppies
Happy 93rd Birthday to Australian composer, the late Peter Sculthorpe, who so beautifully evoked the sounds and feeling of the Australian people and outback in his music.

Haydn famously said that a string quartet was a conversation between friends. The Goldner String Quartet embody that more than most, and pianist Bernadette Harvey, this was a wonderful way to celebrate our return to the concert hall, writes Steve Moffatt
