Jackson Chourio is the second MLB player to deliver a postseason walkoff hit with his team trailing & with a pitcher who led his league in saves during the regular season on the mound (since saves became official in 1969).
The other was Kirk Gibson off Dennis Eckersley in 1988.
That was a really exciting Brewers game 2. The crowd was into it, tight the whole game... and then Chourio in the 9th! Brewers are a fun backup team to have... now let's see if the primary team can make it rain in LA!

It freaks me out that Steve Stone is still a color commentator for baseball games... I was listening to him on Cubs games last century... like, deep last century... the 80's!
That was a fun Braves game. Obviously winning helps that. But it was an appropriately heart stopping and typically close Braves postseason game.

It’s called the “burnerverse”: a sprawling network of anonymous college-sports accounts that can look, at first glance, like ordinary shitposting.
Then I started looking closer. And what I found was a highly coordinated network of hundreds of anon accounts, dedicated to doxxing girls and ruining their lives.

I just got this card on eBay. It’s so frightening. I kinda don’t remember this mascot. What a way to follow up the ‘91 season with a mascot so weird. I’d also like to point out that, at least in the south during this time, shoulder pads were being put into every shirt. And one more thing… is that a hand vac in his right hand? What?
