These pictures of Reform councillor George David Madgwick posing alongside Nigel Farage, Robert Jenrick, Suella Braverman, Zia Yusuf and Laila Cunningham were taken after his arrest.
He has now been charged with 35 offences, including rape and offences involving indecent images of children.
The question is why he was still being paraded alongside the party's most senior figures after his arrest?

Democrat Nancy Lacore, a 35-year Navy veteran who rose through the ranks from helicopter pilot to become Chief of Navy Reserve, was fired in August of 2025 amid Hegseth's purging of high-ranking women in the military. While no official reason was given, the deeply misogynistic Hegseth has not been coy about his caveman belief that only testosterone-injecting men should serve.
Lacore has now defeated Republican Jenny Costa Honeycutt to seize a seat that was formerly held by MAGA lunatic Nancy Mace who launched a failed bid for the governor's mansion this year.
Lacore has not been shy about criticizing Hegseth's disastrous mismanagement of the Defense Department, particularly his failed Iran War.
"Pete Hegseth is the most unqualified Secretary of Defense that we have ever had, and he is doing significant damage to our military that it will really take decades to undo," she said, adding that he "needs to go."
The most beautiful irony here? Congresswoman Lacore could soon be voting with the rest of the Democratic majority in the House to impeach Pete Hegseth. We have subpoena power starting in January, so we'll be able to uncover all of the gross negligence and rampant criminality that he's overseen.

New Labour explicitly pitched devolution in the late 1990s as a strategy to kill nationalism stone dead
(a phrase famously attributed to Labour MP George Robertson).
By creating a devolved parliament while strictly reserving constitutional matters under Schedule 5 of the Scotland Act 1998, Westminster retained ultimate authority.
Establishing the Supreme Court in 2005 formally established who controls judicial interpretation of those reserved powers within a single London based body.
Thus consolidating the UK power over Scotland
From this standpoint, whether it was calculated foresight or institutional self preservation, the result was the same
The UK state built a legal trap that could absorb Scottish devolution while ensuring Scotland could never legally use that devolution to leave.
The Legal Tradition Shock
The fundamental oversight by the Scottish public and negotiators in the late 1990s was trusting that the UK was a voluntary union built on political consent.
For centuries, Scottish legal tradition rested on popular sovereignty
(the people hold ultimate authority, as stated in the Claim of Right 1689).
In contrast, English constitutional law rests on Westminster Parliamentary Supremacy Parliament can pass or repeal any law, and no court can override it.
When the Supreme Court ruled in 2022, it exposed the stark reality under UK law, Parliamentary Supremacy overrides popular sovereignty.
Had the Scottish electorate recognized that devolution would eventually be framed not as a partnership of consent, but as a legal lock enforced from London, the path taken during the initial 1997 devolution referendum might have looked completely different.
In other words Scotland had the wool pulled over our eyes now it is awakening again these deliberate obstructions are clearly evident and who and why they installed them was clearly, to end the right of Scotland to retain itself as an independent country.
For these reasons the SCC asks the people of Scotland to reject the past agreement by Swinney and the SNP to use their referendum that has no possibilities of ever being allowed.
And call on all the Scottish peoples to support genuine restoration of Scotland the honest reclamation of our sovereign nation and its rights regardless of these false claims
