Great bagels, great people, and a great cause!
I stopped by Bella’s Bagels in Colorado Springs to learn about their donation program, which helps cover veterinary expenses for pets in need. I also got to reconnect with co-owner Michelle after we unexpectedly crossed paths at the Space Symposium!
Thanks to Bella's team for bringing the community together and helping our four-legged friends.

Colorado’s most popular Halloween costume this year? The Governor of Colorado.
My favorite part of the fit is the Colorado tie.
It could be at your local Spirit Halloween.
Building affordable housing should be easier and faster, not buried in paperwork.
Starting in 2027, Colorado, @CityofDenver, and @CHFA are launching the Housing Hub Colorado Common Application to streamline the process for affordable housing developers.
By bringing multiple applications into one process, we are cutting red tape, reducing administrative burdens, and helping move more affordable housing projects forward so more Coloradans can find a home.
For more information about this collaboration, visit Housing Hub Colorado: housinghubcolorado.com/

A Capitol full of future leaders!
It was great meeting fourth graders from Adams 12 STEM Lab during their visit to the Capitol. The students saw miniature LEGO models of the Capitol and legislative chambers, and toured the real building. Thanks for visiting!

Colorado-grown food is helping students in Pueblo learn where their meals come from, try fresh foods, and connect with the farmers who put food on our tables. During Colorado Proud Farm to School Meal Month, students at Franklin School of Innovation got hands-on experience preparing food made with locally grown ingredients, showing that healthy eating can start right here at home.

Welcome back, @nuggets. The Louvre has room for another masterpiece.
While visiting Grand Junction this week, I stopped by Clark & Co’s Distilling in Palisade and enjoyed a great burger.
Colorado is full of local businesses that make our communities special, from great restaurants to the people who put their heart into building something of their own.
Next time you’re on the Western Slope, stop by and support a local business!
From honoring the educators who make a difference in our communities to celebrating Western Colorado's incredible prehistoric history, Tuesday was a great day on the Western Slope.
Highway 92 now honors the educators who help Colorado students succeed, and Grand Junction is one step closer to bringing a life-size Brachiosaurus back to the region where it was discovered.
These are the people, places, and stories that make Colorado special. Thanks to everyone working to celebrate our history and build our future.

Thank you to the brave first responders and emergency managers who are working around the clock to get Coloradans to safety and help communities escape this dangerous flooding. First responders have tirelessly spent the day rescuing Coloradans stranded due to the flooding and helping people safely evacuate. Last night I declared a verbal disaster emergency to unlock state resources to assist, including authorizing unarmed members of the Colorado National Guard. Today I am amending that verbal order to include Conejos County. I urge Coloradans in Southwest Colorado to follow emergency orders and ensure you prioritize your and your family’s safety.
Colorado has the talent, innovation, and aerospace expertise to train the next generation of American space leaders. From our world-class universities and research institutions to our leading aerospace companies developing next-generation space technologies, Colorado is uniquely qualified to give future Space Academy students the education and hands-on experience they need to serve our nation and strengthen our security. Hosting the United States Space Academy would build on that foundation, create new opportunities for Coloradans, and help ensure America remains on the cutting edge of the next frontier. Colorado is ready to compete.
