I am beyond disgusted by this vile and racist display. Diwali is an important holiday and our community should feel safe to celebrate it. This hateful display has no place in our city or this country.
HAPPENING NOW: Absolutely chaotic scene as conservative activists Jake Lang and Thomas Allen storm a Diwali Hindu celebration at the Seattle Center Armory.
They held signs that read, "Deport All Dot Heads" and "Stop Hindu Replacement of Christians."
I just spoke to both men who say they are concerned about American culture being overrun by false idol worshippers and H1-B fraudsters.
Lang and Allen say they will be targeting other locations in the city this weekend.
They have yet to announce details of their plans due to possible retaliation by Antifa and other far-left activists.
Stay tuned.

On Tuesday, Democrats flipped:
At least 43 House seats.
At least 7 Senate seats.
At least 5 governorships.
At least 500 state legislative seats.
With more races still to be called.
This is what happens when you invest in state parties: You can win anywhere.

Indigenous communities have long stood at the forefront of efforts to advance dignity, sovereignty, and the rights owed to working people.
As attempts by the current administration to erase Indigenous histories and silence Indigenous voices continue, we honor that legacy by standing together across races and places, born here or new here, to protect our rights and fight for a more just future for all.

When I served as DNC Vice Chair, I was honored to get to know & partner with so many rural Democrats.
Tuesday's election belongs to all of us -- but especially to them and the tireless work they've been doing for years.
Now, let's keep building!

Working families are struggling. Meanwhile, the Trump admin is trying to build a massive arch in his honor.
This isn't what the American people need or want, and House Dems will continue to fight to stop such silly uses of your tax dollars.

When I came back to @dlcc in 2016, Democrats controlled *30* of 99 state legislative chambers.
Reversing the 2010 losses and gaining the majority of state legislative chambers was my biggest, most audacious dream
On Tuesday, Dems achieved that dream, winning 51 majorities. 🥹

I want to take another chance to thank every organizer & staffer who worked tirelessly to elect Democrats this year.
Your dedication, creativity, & tenacity put us in the position to deliver an America we can afford, accessible healthcare, and an end to war & tariffs. Thank you!

For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.”
This morning, he passed away.
A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress.
He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me.
Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️

I’m sure my parents are smiling from heaven.
This week, I saw more of the America they worked for reflected in the people elected to lead us.
I’m grateful to everyone whose organizing, courage and commitment helped make these victories possible. May we carry that work forward with love, a commitment to justice and the determination to create the Beloved Community.

Tuesday's results were about more than just the big-ticket races. As a former member of the NYS Assembly, I know how much good work happens in our state legislatures, and I'm so excited to see what all these Democrats do!

Next Congress will be the most female Congress in history. The most AAPI Congress in history. The gayest Congress in history.
And it's going to be the Congress that delivers the most for working people, from bringing down costs to taking on corporate corruption 💪💪

For the first time in U.S. history, there will be five Black governors serving simultaneously — the most ever.
The record number of Black governors-elect marks a significant milestone, thanks to the blue wave that swept Democrats into office nationwide. wapo.st/4AxEJTd
