If Islam is peaceful and the “far right” are the real threat. Then why do we need barriers and armed police at Christmas markets and not mosques. Anyone?

If senior people don’t feel they need to resign over the appalling, heartless police mistreatment of Henry Nowak as the eighteen-year-old student lay dying, then how bad would something have to be before senior people resigned? Time was when honour demanded that conduct with heinous consequences led to the people ultimately responsible taking responsibility. I am so sick of the Nothing to see here culture.

A convicted fraudster in government, Members of Parliament used to resign for far less.
Imagine having convicted fraudster Louise Haigh standing in for Burnham at PMQs. @UKLabour are shameless. .

AN ABSOLUTE BETRAYAL OF DEMOCRACY. 17.4 million people voted to leave the European Union. That democratic decision should mean something. Now Andy Burnham appears to be entertaining arrangements that could bring us back under EU rules through the back door, without giving the electorate a proper say. This is exactly the sort of political manoeuvring that destroys public trust. You cannot claim to respect democracy while looking for ways to sidestep the biggest democratic mandate in a generation. The British people voted to take back control. That decision must be respected, not quietly undermined. TOTAL BETRAYAL OF THE ELECTORATE. 🇬🇧

When this kind of violence is allowed by the police, it marks the end of a decent society
We are all tired of seeing @YoungBobRB be assaulted for his often fair political opinion. @metpoliceuk can you start locking people up please, political violence should not be tolerated!

While Danny Tommo sits on remand for deflating an empty dinghy, others walk free. Huw Edwards: child sex offences suspended sentence. Mohammed Amaaz: police assault Immediately bailed. Mike Amesbury: beat a constituent up immediate bail. Danny Tommo’s trial isn’t until 1 June 2027. By then he will have spent 249 days in prison. HES BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF NO CRIME. This isn’t the justice system taking its course. It’s political persecution.

Foreign Muslim man in Wolverhampton thinks that you should be allowed to park anywhere as long as your praying in a mosque. Big respect to the parking attendant.

Emily Thornberry talks about being honest with the nation and says hundreds of thousands of people were consulted on Labour's watered-down immigration reforms. She fails to reveal on national television that the percentage of those consulted who were actually British nationals was just 18%. Labour asks migrants what they think, but cares little for the concerns of Brits.

🚨BREAKING: A 46-year-old Christian Police Community Support Officer has won a confidential settlement from North Yorkshire Police after his career was nearly ended for speaking up in diversity training. Luke Salmons was suspended just two days after a mandatory diversity session where he questioned the claim that Islam is a "religion of peace" and asked questions about jihad, Hamas, and the war in Gaza. For that, he was found guilty of gross misconduct and placed on the Police Barred List — a list that effectively bans you from ever working in policing again. He refused to accept it and appealed. On appeal, North Yorkshire Chief Constable Tim Forber overturned the decision, concluding that Salmons' conduct did NOT amount to gross misconduct and did NOT breach professional standards. He was removed from the barred list. Salmons then took legal action against the force, bringing claims of religious discrimination, harassment, and breaches of his freedom of religion and freedom of expression. Rather than face him at an Employment Tribunal, North Yorkshire Police settled the case. The settlement amount remains confidential. A Christian officer punished for asking questions — and ultimately vindicated.

London is hosting “The Thinking Muslim Conference” this weekend. One speaker said he would be willing to carry out a suicide bombing. Another was described as a member of Al-Qaeda, and met the Taliban. I have written to the Home Secretary about the obvious security concerns.

No one has taken responsibility for the horrendous way in which Henry Nowak was treated by Hampshire Police. That’s why, with @colinsutton , a former Detective Chief Inspector and our Police and Crime Spokesman, I’m calling on Hampshire’s Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner to resign. I also have concerns about the government’s own review: it is being led by a former Conservative Minister to look into the actions of a Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner. The perception of bias is just as bad as actual bias. We need impartiality, transparency and accountability.

This is not democracy … it’s dictatorship. Burnham is negotiating a deal that could force UK taxpayers to fund poorer EU states, even though we voted to leave the EU and can’t even fund ourselves ! There is no mandate for this!
