What does this mean?
- Payment and trading applications are even more responsive
- Better user experience for merchants accepting payments or exchanges crediting deposits
@solana is infra for finance, and Alpenglow brings the deterministic settlement speed traditional finance requires.

Alpenglow is live on Solana mainnet. Onchain data shows TowerBFT produced its last block at about 13:54 UTC Wednesday, and Anza posted the switch less than a minute later.
